I haven't read thru this yet, but I know Nicks Heart for the "abused"!
I bought this for our Grandson, who has been bullyed at school, etc. It's SO Tough these days with all the "online portals", cell phones, texting, etc. that can negatively affect the lives and attitudes of kids in a heartbeat! Talk about Ganging Up! Group Texts are lethal! They make it seem like the "whole world" is against them! Nick's Testimony is compelling and I'm confident it will lift our Grandson's spirit and attitude, especially toward himself and his relationship with and through Christ!

God has a much better plan for our life than we can imagine
I read this book as a parent and as a teacher. "Stand Strong" contains excellent tips for the young people on how to build their self-esteem and inspires them how not to make the mistakes Nick did as a kid. Readers can learn from his mistakes but also from his victories, which are enormous and numerous. I liked the part where he talked about his bad habit of swearing and how he overcame it. I believe Nick is an excellent role model for the young especially that his values are strong and he practices what he preaches. God has a much better plan for our life than we can imagine- he says and that's why Nick tells his readers to always believe in the better future ahead of them, even in the hardest times. I recommend this book to all teens and their parents.

Rewarding to read it whether you are victim or victimizer
Rewarding to read it whether you are the victim or the victimizer This is a great book from true Writer who lived the victim of being bullied; Whether you are the victim of being bullied or the victimizer, read it to protect yourself from being victim; And if you are a victimizer, give gift of self esteem to your weakness and read it to protect yourself from life crisis that -at any time- may put you in the same situation to be done to you as you cruelly did it to others!

Inspirational and easy read for all ages above 10 years old
Gave the book to our Children's Minister to read. We are starting a parenting series and felt this book would help teach parents about how our children treat others when they don't understand how to deal with "Difference" themselves and most parents don't either! Highly recommend

Anything by Nick is hugely inspirational! Gave this for Christmas to my grandsons, who have had to endure bullying at school. Just not that many books written FOR the young teen on this topic! And who better than Nick to encourage kids who get picked on! I thank the Lord for Nick and speaking through him to be such an encouragement. This would be a great book for a parent and their kids at any grade level to go through together!

Brilliant
Ive been bullied, all my life through school, and work untill over year ago I prayed to God that I will get a job where I would be happy and he got that for me.praise the Lord.Also reading this book, has really helped me to become strong, so if I get some funny people have a go at me, im strong after reading this book.Nick has got some really good tips that I will use if need in future.Thanks Nick XX
