Doesnt Come With Outlet Tester- But Mine is Conductive
I am new to the grounding mats, but not new to grounding or earthing. I own more shoes than anyone I know, but I cannot stand to wear any of them except my moccasins. As the weather begins its dying season here in the Midwest, I wanted to find something to keep myself connected in the wintertime. I have been looking at the science on this for a while on and off and doubted that so much could come from it (although I have always just been drawn to be barefoot). I began using about about 4 days ago, and had to take a chance the first two days that I was actually connected to the ground because it didn't come with an outlet tester and I haven't previously owned a grounding mat. A friend of mine brought over a multimeter the second day and we tested everything out. In my kit, the bracelet proves to be more conductive, but they both are and the product works! I have pretty bad arthritis in my hands (and it flares up when I have to write extensive research papers for my undergrad studies) and that was the first noticeable thing I stopped having.. my fingers no longer hurt. Still unconvinced but wanting to continue for the sake of science, I continued to use it (esp. knowing that it was conductive like advertised). On day three I started my cycle, which is always super painful for me and has been a bother throughout my life (literally the only time I ever use OTC pain meds). I ground for at least half the day between the bracelet and the mat.. and on days one and two of my cycle (days 3 and 4 of use) I haven't had any menstrual pain... at all. And my hands and fingers still don't hurt! I am sold on this whole grounding thing and felt this was a good stepping stone into the products themselves because it is low priced. As a believer now, I have invested in "the real deal" mats by Clint Ober, but plan to continue using this mat and bracelet, especially to show others in my life what an awesome thing it is. For a reasonable price, I am impressed, but if you do not own an outlet checker or multimeter, you would have to invest separately (I've seen the checkers for about 7-8$ here on Amazon). Happy Grounding!!

I’m still undecided
Ok so I’m really into natural earthing and for me there’s nothing that can compare to spending time out in nature with shoes off, skin contact with the earth. Needless to say, I’m not receiving the full feeling or effect of this product than if I were to spend time in the sand or grass. It’s interesting the first few days or using this product, there was a noticeable difference in my pms symptoms (from like 90 to 0 pain level change!) and I’ve noticed a few other aches minimize. A month in, I find myself constantly checking its source connection to make sure it’s plugged in because I don’t feel that I’m receiving the same effects as when I first bought it, nor the ones I was anticipating after reading about positive responses from earthing products. Especially after almost spraining an ankle a couple days before receiving this product, I was looking forward to some magic for the swelling and tenderness… I’m still waiting lol. I don’t know, it’s more like a mind game at this moment 🤷🏾♀️ I’d suggest getting a reader to ensure it’s properly working for good measure (not offered with this product). On the other hand, I appreciate the extensively long chord it comes with, as well as the variation between mat and wristband, as one suits better depending upon what you’re doing and personality. I think I’ll give the bed sheets a try and after that, hopefully transition somewhere warm enough that I can just go natural, good ol skin to earth contact mostly.

Tests comparable to the official Earthing product, but it's not the same texture
My husband and I use - and love - mats from the original Earthing company. They definitely deliver value for money. But, I wanted an extra mat for the living room where I practice tai chi. I didn't want to keep snapping & unsnapping the mat by my desk, etc. On the other hand, I wasn't sure I wanted to pay the full price of an Earthing brand mat. So, I ordered this set. I have the luxury of owning a meter that measures electrical charge in the human body, and I've confirmed that Earthing mats work. It appears that this Grounding Mat works as well (or at least nearly as well) as the Earthing mat. In addition, the wrist band works well, too. (I don't own an Earthing wrist band, so I can't compare those.) The Grounding Mat doesn't have the same texture as the Earthing mat. It's a little smoother, and therefore feels a little "stickier" if you perspire on it at all. Likewise, the Grounding Mat didn't come with the extras that the Earthing company includes. Also, the Grounding Mat's cord is entirely straight and got tangled even before I plugged it into the outlet. The Earthing mat's cord has a spiral/curly segment (which expands/stretches as needed) so it avoids tangling. So, all in all, the Grounding Mat feels like a budget version, but - in this case - that's all we needed. The mat works. That's the important part. I'm glad we have the original Earthing mats for locations where we're using them most often. But, for an extra mat that's used less often, or if you're on a tight budget, I think the Grounding Mat is a fine alternative.

SO FAR SO GOOD!
I had to return two other mats of a different seller because they were so flimsy. They worked when you put a multi meter on it or the grounding meter, but I knew they wouldn't hold up. This brand replaces my older heavier one and works with the multi meter for conduction, down to 0 volts. Please don't just go by continuity on the meter... these products work differently. Go to youtube and view one of the many videos on how to do your own check. Its pretty easy or you can simply buy the grounding meter here on Amazon. This appears to be a good mat, well built, no odor, substantial and works...time will tell. By the way, don't discard your old non-grounding mat. You can repurpose them by applying some conductive copper metal tape (bought here on Amazon) to the surface being sure to surround and touch the snap (use a hole punch through the tape to surround the snap) and as long as your cable still works, the mat will be conductive again. You can check with your multi-meter or grounding meter. I put them underneath electronics and plug in to discharge positive electrons and reduce voltage... pretty cool.

Grounding to fall asleep
A physical therapist friend of mine said this helped her sleep better. I tried it and it seemed to have made me fall asleep faster, but I am still not super convinced that it was worth the purchase. I have to do more research on grounding with mats. I would rather ground barefoot on the lawn, but Florida grass is full of ants and I'm not interested in doing the Saint Vitus dance from biting fire ants lol

This is a scam
Don’t but this. I’m an engineer, I checked this with a multimeter. The cable that it comes with didn’t even have continuity. That means that it doesn’t actually connect with anything. You could say that’s a factory defect sure, but consider this next fact. If the mat was conductive, you should be able to detect continuity with a multimeter by touching any two points on the mat with the probes. Guess what, I ran that test and it doesn’t work. Even if I touch the probes on the mat only few millimeters apart, still doesn’t work. So the mat itself isn’t even conductive, and the wire that connects it to the outlet doesn’t even work. All around this is a scam. I was skeptical of the science behind grounding, but this confirms that it’s not real. Save your money, go outside instead.

Great Quality Mat - Wristband Not Great!
I just received this package a few days ago and it's too early to tell how well the wrist is working. It does have connectivity, which I checked with a meter, however, I have a long-standing wrist/hand/finger issue, so it may take some time to determine if the wristband is effective. I have osteoarthritis in both hands/fingers, so find the wristband a little flimsy and awkward to get closed properly. The grounding wire attachment is immediately next to where the wristband (elastic) has to be closed. I find this very awkward to get on and off, as well as to adjust size. The mat looks to be very good quality - much better than my older ones, however, the wristband is rather flimsy and awkward to get on and off, so I will probably look for a different style - more substantial. I will keep the package, as I like the size and quality of the mat and will definitely use.

I can tell it's working
When I first plugged it in and started using the mat, I felt like my legs and feet were tingling a bit. Not an uncomfortable feeling, but I definitely felt like it was working. I use the mat on my bed and after using it for over 24 hours, a lot of the pain I usually have in my back and hips felt much improved. But then one day I noticed my pain had returned, and when I thought about it, I no longer noticed the tingling feeling I'd first experienced in my legs. So I decided to check my mat and see if I could figure out why it felt like it was no longer effective, and I discovered the cord was no longer plugged in! Once I plugged it back in I immediately began to feel the tingling and my pain was much improved not long after!

Vale a pena!!

Etrange.

No perceived health benefits.
Purchased this mat for the purported health benefits. Used it for many hours over 20 days. Felt no difference in pain levels, sleep quality, energy or stress level from when I started using it. NOTHING!
