Asmodee Marvel Champions The Card Game Ms. Marvel HERO PACK - Cooperative Superhero Strategy Game for Kids and Adults, Ages 14+, 1-4 Players, 45-90 Minute Playtime

I don't know much about Ms. Marvel, but I bought this expansion because I had all the other character packs. She has been a fun character to play as. She has the ability to use and hold on to event cards, which is a fun new option - which card do you want to use and still have next turn?

My favorite Marvel character is done well in Marvel Champions. Her deck hinges on making full use of her event cards and endlessly cycling them back to your hand. There are some interesting ways to "break" her, but at minimum it means you get to use each event twice, or play an event, then use it as a resource to play another. Take full advantage to bank cards with Bruno for the right moment and then have big swing turns.

Ms. Marvel is a great value hero pack. Even if she's not your favorite hero, you should buy her because the added cards are well worth it.

At first when I looked at the pack I wasn't impressed with Ms. Marvel's stats. A 1/1/1? Didn't seem great. But after trying her out I enjoy playing her. She is fun that she can set up a card draw and cost reducing engine. She heavily relies on events to deal damage and thwart away threat. So her inherent abaility to return these to your hand is nice. As far as the deck goes, it's good to buy and just play. With a few tweeks it becomes even better though (drop Nova!). With these packs I am going to be rating them based on a few things. Solo play, co-op play, and whether it's a good first buy. Solo play: 3 of 5 stars. She can be played solo, but not my first choice. She can easily get beaten by her threat going to high, or just too many minions coming out. Co-op play: 4 of 5. She does much better working with other heroes. This gives her a chance to concentrate on returning her events back to hand. First buy: Yes this is a good pack for a first buy. Great cards and a fun deck to play. My only caveat is if you are a solo player Captain America might be easier for you. Still though recommend this hero pack!

I bought all the expansion packs for marvel champions bc I loved the base game so much!

passed on this character original, because it's not a character I care about from the comics or the MCU. But, she actually has some really good cards in here kit and precon deck.

I would advise caution before purchasing

As of writing this review, I've played with this hero maybe 3 or 4 times. She's fun to play with once she's fully built. Her support and upgrade cards allow for increase damage and thwarting, as well as hand manipulation(pun intended). The strength of her character, my opinion, comes from how efficient you can be with the current hand you have, as well as planning for hands a few turns down the road. She has a support card, Bruno Carelli, who can hold cards and you can exhaust him later on to retrieve those cards later down the road. I'm still trying to figure her out, in terms of which aspect works with her, but she's still fun to play. Plus the cards that she comes with are really good to add to the game. Definitely worth the purchase.
