I am more than pleased with this magnificent garment iron and steamer! The main reason I chose this iron over others is because it has a 3 year warranty and a LIFETIME sole plate warranty. A good judgement of product quality can be based on the company's confidence in their products. So, when they include a decent warranty, you know it will exceed expectations. I was also delighted by it's aesthetics and modern look. It definitely does the job on all kinds of fabrics. It takes about 10 seconds for it to heat up, so there is no waiting around to begin your ironing. Multitude of fabric and steam settings to choose from. I was very satisfied with it's garment steaming ability as well. Water reservoir is adequate so you will not have to constantly refill. It's auto shut-off comes in handy as I sometimes forget to turn it off when the day gets busy. One of my favorite features is the 8 foot retractable cord; no more winding up the cord or tripping over it and pulling it down ... Overall, this is a 5 star iron in all attributes at an incredibly affordable price!! (the manufacturer tests every iron, so there is a tiny bit of water in the reservoir).

I first purchased this iron for quilting only. I had an EXPENSIVE Rowenta in the laundry, expensive did not like the quality, heavy expensive. It died after about 3 years so I purchased another SUNBEAM for 1/3 the price to replace the Rowenta, for the laundry room. The Rowenta is good, nothing spectacular, very heavy and those touch buttons disintegrate after a few years, pain in the *** just as good as the Sunbeam, but 3 times the price. The steam in the Sunbeam is very good, it really works. IT STEAMS, does not create spots of water, true steam, no leakage. That is a wonderful asset. Another wonderful asset, is that the retractable cord is still working, (the first one I bought June 2016). It is also much lighter than the ROWENTA. FYI made in China. I try to buy "made in USA" only, but there was no info on where the product was made in the description. It is a good quality product with a great price. I have had the first one since 2016 and still working like a charm.

I like this iron. I would have given it five stars but the cord is a little too short and I do have to finagle the retractable cord back into the casing, which is a bother. Still, the unit works very well, has a good steam and spray feature and is easy to clean. Definitely recommend.

This is a great iron Not good but great . it has all the features for ironing clothes according to their texture. It has a very powerful steam and the cord is retractable. I have no complaints. It is better than the Hamilton Beach iron that I replaced.

I love this iron. 1st it is sleek looking. 2nd it is heavy and fills very study. 3rd it is sleek looking- oh yeah I said that. I am a happy camper. Auto shut off. Quick to heat. Reservoir is good size. Very easy to use.

Clearly not everyone's experience, but when I got this product it had been repackaged. However, it looked clean enough and I decided to try it anyway because I really needed it. I read the instructions, filled it to the recommended water level, and put it on the cotton setting. Within about a minute the iron started beeping with a red error message, five seconds after that the unit start smoking. I quickly unplugged it from the wall and took it outside to prevent the smoke from filling the room. I looked in the instructions and there isn't even a mention of that error message as a possible indicator. This isn't my first rodeo with an iron and I've never seen such a catastrophic failure of an electric appliance like that before. Just be careful if you see that red error message that the instructions say nothing about. I really wanted to like this iron. It had a good weight and size. Seemed simple enough. Oh well. Returning. I'm going to make sure when I return it to whole foods that they know that this item is damaged/defective and that it would be dangerous to repackage and give to someone else.

OMG! I tried sooooo many different irons. Ok, first my husband picked one out for me. I forgot what iron he picked out, but I didn't care for it so I was glad when it blew out. It blew out because we had a faulty plug socket but didn't know it until a total of 3 irons blew out! Anyway, so then I got to pick out the iron I wanted in the first place, which was the Black & Decker Classic Steam Iron F67E. I wanted that iron because I don't care for the "space age" look that new irons have these days. The Black & Decker one looks just like "old school" that I'm used to. So I got that iron & I was so excited. Well, I liked it ok, especially the looks & how it heats, but it doesn't have a spray for water. I can't iron without one, plus I found out that the Black & Decker (as well as many other irons) contain chemicals in the cord that have been known to cause cancer. I've had cancer so I sent this iron back right away & was soooooooooooo happy I did because I found the iron of my dreams! I make masks so I definitely need an iron. This iron heats up really quick, has every, single feature I want & need, it's comfortable to hold & use, it's really, really pretty & the best feature I will never own another iron without, is the retractable cord. I LOVE THIS IRON! == I've been using this iron for a couple of weeks now. I STILL love it! I have found one irritating thing about it though, the dial. After you plug it in, you turn the dial to set the temperature. The dial is underneath the handle & it's hard to see & hard to turn. I can deal with that though. Other than that, it's still perfect!

The iron came with an American plug and this info was not provided clearly in advance. I would not have bought it if I knew I would need a transformer at much dearer cost.
