Stainless 45-Liter Recycle Trash Can

I'm actually very happy with this product. I got it for two main reasons: 1. My baby constantly dig into open recycle bins so I wanted to find closed ones; 2. I'm tired of using three mismatch trash and recycle bins. So this three compartment bin just fits the bill. I didn't have any problems with it. Some people complained that the footsteps are cheaply made, but I found the quality is just fine and I never have to be afraid that I might break them. When I just got the bin, one of the lid didn't open just like some of the reviews described. The only thing I did to fix that problem was simply removing the cardboard box inside that bin and the lid works perfectly and smoothly. Overall I highly recommend this product. It really makes my kitchen look cleaner and neater. The only warning I have is that the bins are fairly small so you have to empty them on daily basis which is a practice we prefer anyway.

When I received the 12 gallon, three bin item, the box had a very large rip in the front. I opened the container, and saw that there were two very large dents in the front. Looking at the bins inside, one corner of one of the bins was broken off. Also, the bin was a lot smaller than I thought. Upgraded to the larger size (60 liter). That one came in even worse shape. First, there was a small dent in the top middle of the front side, but it was so small, I was OK with over looking it. I pushed down on the right foot peddle, and it wouldn't open. I had to open it with my hands, and when I let it close, it wasn't fitted right but would then open with the peddle. I looked at the right bin, and the handle was bent. I tried to pull out the bin, but the system was actually put together wrong and you couldn't take out the bin. For example, the top black piece should have been put together first, then the operator should have put in the bins so you could remove them. Who ever put it together did this backwards, so you can't take out the bin. I almost had Amazon send me another, but decided not to. I don't want to deal with having to send back a third. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Would have given it 0 stars, but you have to give it at least one. If you still want this, and it comes in a way that isn't what you expect, know that you can return it to Amazon for free. Thank you Amazon.

This recycling bin is perfect for our needs. We have it behind our bar...it is not our main recycling center. I would not recommend it if you have a large family or a lot of recycling each week because the bins are on the small side, but it is exactly what I was looking for. I saw several reviews where people said they didn't like that the lids don't open all the way when you step on the pedal, but I don't find that an issue when I'm tossing something, and when I pull the bins out I just open it the rest of the way with my hand. I have not had any problems pulling the bins out, either. I wouldn't use it for garbage, because the bins fit so tightly there isn't really space to secure a bag. The only issue I had at all was remembering which bin was for what, so I added labels.

I wanted a small organized area for daily recycling that would look clean and tidy in my kitchen. The organizer is small yet has 3 sturdy good sized removable plastic bins with handles that come out easy. It holds several days of recycling and allows me to separate things out easily before I take them to a larger recycling bin for permanent disposal. The steel exterior is good looking and sturdier than it appears in the photos when I ordered it. If you have a limited space and want something to sort your recycling into that does not take a lot of room, this is a good option.

Works well and as intended. Not smell proof though. And not a lot fits if you aren’t crushing cans and bottles before putting them in.

Ok but they are super tiny cans. If you have more than two people in your house, don't get these cans.

Completely revolutionized our recycling system in the kitchen, and looks fantastic. It sort of works in our space, we use this oriented on it's side and slide it in and out between the oven and fridge. Love the bucket compartments and that they have handles for easy grabbing. Only complaint would be it was packaged with styrofoam - seems ironic!

Extreamly exreamly small! I went to return it and they charge you $20 to return, not even worth returning since I would pay to ship about what I spent. I don't know what they expect this to be used for, Barbie recycling maybe. My 7 month old daughter uses it to stand and steady herself to walk because she can see over it. Might fit a jug of milk (collapsed) in a container. Don't waste your money. If you recycle, this isn't your recycling bin, unless you plan on going twice a day.
