TRUE® UTV-SBI-CM UTV Dual Battery Connect & Monitor Kit

Great product with very easy installation, it seems to be working as designed however I did not install the included voltage meter because I didn’t want to place such large holes in my utv dash,I could have opted for a cheaper one but quality and dependable is important to me. It would be nice if the voltage meters were designed in such a way as to fit the multiple rocker switch openings on the utv instead of having to mount the voltage meter in the battery compartment.

Very easy to install. Installed on a Honda Pioneer 1000-5. Works great. I plan on installing additional ones on my boat and my jeep.

I own a 2010 Polaris 800 RZRs and when the time came to set up a dual battery setup isolating the back up battery so I could run my radio, lights and accessories without fear of killing the primary I looked to options for isolators. The TrueAm was highly recommended on several forums so I did some research, part of which was calling the manufacturer. I was impressed that my calls were answered by a real person and on top of that the owner of the company. He walked me through the process and explained clearly how his product worked and gave recommendations on the install. I must say it was real easy to do and the instructions were crystal clear. Took me about 30 minutes, mostly trying to figure out ways to run the wires so they would look nice and neat and be tucked away correctly. Been a few months now and the system works great. I have a CTEK battery tender hooked up with a quick connect to the main battery and when it is stored in the garage the main is charged to full before it switches over and charges the Aux battery. While out in the field I can turn off the RZR and run my radio, lights, and any other accessory, completely dump the Aux and still have a full fresh main battery to start the RZR. Very happy with the purchase and impressed with the quality of the TruAm Isolator.

Bought this to add an extra battery to my kawasaki teryx 800 le sxs. Instructions that came with it were a little vague but once i got it all hooked up it works great!!!!! Nice that it came with a volt meter so i can see it charging my starting battery and then switch over and charge my accessory battery. Dont have to worry about all my accessories killing my starting battery. And if i notice the accessory battery is running low all i have to do is start the sxs up and it will charge the battery right back up. Must have if your running lots of accessories on your side by side and dont want to run your starting battery down and be stranded.

Works and performs as described, easy installation with instructions provided. The double digital read out in a single unit is a great upgrade to the unit. Reason for only 4 stars, otherwise will give 5 stars. The positive cables should be same length, and enough to reach 1/2 of the widest UTV available. Same for the negative cable, if not a bit longer. Make the mounting holes for the isolator a bit larger. The isolator should be a sealed unit in case it cannot be located in a dry location. Mine happens to be in one that will not get wet. With that said, it is an excellent unit and with works as it should, I would have no problem paying for those minor upgrades.

This was the perfect solution for a lack of power in my side by side. With this I was able to install a secondary battery to power my accessories rather draining the main battery need to for drive controls. The instructions were very easy to understand and the product seems to be holding up well since i installed.

I spent a little more for this kit but it works very good. A little work to install but not over the top if you have some ability. The leads are super long on some part so I cut them down and made my own connections on one end. I did that just for the clean look. Definitely not required to do so, just my preference. Installed on my 2019 Honda Pioneer 1000
