This was an easy replacement for my sander. It looks and mounts just like the OEM. Little early to tell but I think the pads don’t stick as well as the OEM. I hope it doesn’t become any issue after a period of time. Good value instead of buying an original equipment replacement part.

I would watch the u tube video on removal and install which is very easy but this helps if you have never changed one out. The palm sander can have three screws or four screws to attached so you need to get the correct size and screw configuration. I first bought one at Lowes not knowing, it was the correct size and had four screws but mine had three, cost $20 returned and order on Amazon for half that cost and just as good and worked fine.

This sander pad fit my old sander perfectly. If anything the pad holds the sanding discs too well. The discs definitely do not slip on the pad when the sander is operating and are not easy to remove from the pad when done. The price for this pad was about 1/5th of the price of a pad from the OEM.

Make sure before you purchase this, that you put the screws back into the sander and that they screw in. I purchased this and started using it but then realized the screws did not go back in properly and the disc pad kept lifting away from the sander. I'm guessing the thread on the hole the screw goes into was worn.

So I have had this installed for a little less than a year on my sander and the all of a sudden the sanding disks started flying off. I only use it for light / medium use so I was a little ticked off that nothing was sticking to it anymore. After further inspection, it appears the plastic on edges started curling up and not allowing the velcro to stick. I cut off all the raised plastic edges with a knife and it worked like new. Not the prettiest thing ever but it works like new.

My Dewalt sander pads were getting bad and I decided to replace the pads instead of purchasing 2 new sanders. It was a very good decision. Took less than 5 minutes per sander to replace. Now instead of the sandpaper disks wanting to fall off they stick like a champion. I have used my sanders quite heavily since the new ones where installed, and I have no complaints.

Everything seams too be self explanatory . I am happy with everything I received, once I installed the items, I’ll give you a heads up On the quality and What is good , or what I Think is not a good value for the price. Thank you

It didnt last long. The screw holes were out and pad came off. The screws were tight. It only lasted two months.

I assumed there were 2 pads because they show 2 in the add little disappointed when only 1 arrived I reread the add and it say theres 1 the picture is very misleading The pad works as it should but 2 would’ve been better
