Is the official Wii U pro controller made by Nintendo?

Yes, mine was. I assume they all are. Just a refurbished unit. I returned my first one due to a drift issue with one of the joysticks. Second one is working fine so far.

No charging port, battery operated. It takes 2 AA batteries.
