Absolutely love this coat, perfect for summer rain. A good too.

It’s very bright,you certainly don’t need high vis jacket with this on.🤣 very waterproof,roomy so you could put something thick on underneath it. Love it❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I would choose a size down nice quality.

This is a great jacket! Very thin so doesn't provide any warmth so I went a size up so I could layer underneath it for chillier weather. The waterproofing is second to none, can withstand even a heavy downpour and no leaks or soaking through which is a real bonus for unpredictable Scottish weather. It's also super cute so would absolutely recommend, especially given it's listed here as about £30 cheaper than the Helly Hansen online store (worth noting that their website has a good size calculator if you're unsure about what to go for)

The actual jacket is wonderful. Hood nice & big to fit a headtorch underneath, collar nice and roomy so won't strangle you & you can took your chin in for protection. Clips on the sleeves a bit naff but would have been acceptable. Material is great - proper waterproof. Unfortunately, the pockets on the front are an envelope fastening. No zip or even some press studs to keep them closed. Rain running down the jacket will find a way in there & pool. No good to me as if rain is heavy I keep my phone inside my jacket to keep it dry. Returned for a refund.

Super coat and fully waterproof. I have two other H/H rain jackets, one I paid $200 for and neither holds up to the rain. I walk for about 45 to 60 minutes in pouring rain and the rain came right through the other 2 jackets. This jacket however is FULLY waterproof. Just came in from an hour walk in the torrential downpour and still dry. This jacket is not as nice looking as the other 2 H/H jackets I have and not what I’ll call a flattering style jacket. It’s a rain jacket! You tend to sweat inside if its warm outside because it doesn’t breath well, but I’ll take that!!!! I’m a size XS to S at 5 ft 4 inches and 125 pound slim build so I purchased a S and it is a bit large. But that’s perfect because I can put a warmer layer underneath and it fits perfectly. I purchased a black simply because it was cheaper and I wasn’t sure if the coat would be waterproof so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. But if I had my time back and had know how waterproof it actually is, I would have purchased a yellow at the higher price instead. The video shows what looks to be a pocket on the inside of the jacket, but be careful, as it is not sewn on the side to the actual jacket and an item could easily fall out. It would have been much better if they had just sewn up that side to make an inside pocket as the design of the outside pocket is an envelope style and its a bit of a squeeze to put something in the pockets and I’m afraid to actually put my keys or phone in there as it looks like much use may actually rip the pocket on the side from simple use. Other people mentioned about no HH on the chest as shown in the pictures and that is correct, but it did have HH on the left shoulder. Overall a great purchase at the price I paid for what I wanted in a coat which is simply to be FULLY waterproof. Hope this helps.

I purchased this item primarily because of the brand name - Helly Hansen. I've bought several of their products in the past, and they have always met or exceeded my expectations. Therefore, I had high hopes for this item, and I'm pleased to say that it didn't disappoint. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase from Helly Hansen.

Con HH non si sbaglia mai! Indossato tutta la mattina sotto la pioggia battente senza ombrello, non è entrata neppure una goccia. Preso una taglia in più per poter mettere anche un piumino 100 gr sotto è assolutamente consigliato

Die Jacke passt als Testobjekt in die Schmuddelwetterzeit und kam deswegen wie gerufen. Sie kam gut verpackt und beschädigungsfrei an und wurde direkt in Augenschein genommen. Das Versprechen bzw. die Produktmerkmale lauten vollständig Wind- und Wasserdicht. Die verschweißten Nähte weisen schon mal darauf hin, dass dies stimmen könnte. Die Jacke ist in einem angenehmen Blauton gehalten und fühlt sich für eine Kunststoffregenjacke angenehm geschmeidig an. Wir haben mit einem deutlich steiferen Material gerechnet. Im Bereich der verschweißten Nähte ist das Material natürlich spürbar stabiler, aber keinesfalls komplett unflexibel. Auf der Vorderseite ist ein Reißverschluss (verschweißt und hinterlegt) sowie eine Druckknopfleiste zum Verdecken des Reißverschlusses angebracht. Fehlte nur noch der Test. Die Jacke wurde mehrfach auf Wanderungen mitgenommen...doch leider (oder grade zum Glück) kam es nicht zum Regen. Also wurde erstmal die Winddichtigkeit getestet. Durch den Aufbau der Jacke kann diese ohne Probleme bescheinigt werden, sofern man auch die Druckknopfleiste über dem RV schließt und ggf. auch noch die Kapuze nutzt. Mit einem Gewicht von ca. 630gr ist die Jacke kein ultimatives Leichtgewicht, aber ist auch weit weg von anderen schweren Regenjacken. Letztlich wurde das Wetter dann erstmal mit der Dusche simuliert, dass Ergebnis war absolut überzeugend. Das in die Jacke gelegte Papier zeigte keine feuchte Stelle. Beim nächsten langen Ausflug nach draußen wurde sie wieder eingepackt und kam dann endlich zum Einsatz. Ordentlicher Schauer mit merkbarem Wind dazu und die Jacke hält was sie verspricht und zwar dicht. Die darunterliegende Schicht blieb trocken und der Wind drückte auch keine Feuchtigkeit an den Nähten in die Jacke. Der negative Aspekt der Jacke ist natürlich systemimmanent. Bedingt durch die Art der Konstruktion ähnelt die Jacke einer Dampfsperre im Haus. Es gibt kein Membran oder eine Funktion die der einer atmungsaktiven Jacke ähnelt. Deswegen ist die Jacke nicht (zumindest bei uns nicht) zum dauerhaften tragen außerhalb des Regens geeignet, da sich Stauwärme und so auch Nässe bildet. Dies ist für mich jedoch kein Abwertungskriterium, da die Jacke dies genau nicht leisten soll. Sie soll eben klar eine geschlossene Schicht darstellen, welche ich nur dann auspacke wenn es nötig ist. Dies leistet sie bisher zur vollsten Zufriedenheit. Von daher kann der nächste Regen kommen! 5 Sterne für eine einfache, schön geschnittene und vor allem funktionierende Regen/Windjacke.
