These are too small for me, is there a "Small" pellet available here in same size pacakge?

Yes, we do offer a Small, sinking 3.0 mm diameter pellet in the COLOR FX formula. The product pictured in the question is the Baby, 1.0 mm pellet. We also offer a sinking 5.0 mm pellet in two XL PRO and ULTIMA KRILL formulas, as well as a 5.5 mm floating in XL PRO and COLOR SUPREME.

Question 2

It says in the description that it’s 1mm. is that the same size of 1mm of nls? i know other fish food varies as far as 1 mm

Hi,
Thank you for your inquiry. Dainichi 1 mm sinking pellets are in fact true 1.0 mm in size. There may be some that are 0.9 mm and some that may be 1.1 mm, but those amount to maybe 5 - 10 % of the total volume. We are the actual producer of the food, and thus have a total control of the extrusion parameters. Our pellet extruder operators run these pellets on a weekly basis and are totally familiar with the expected size, density and color of the specific formulas. You can count on the fact that the food you order from Dainichi will not vary in size and appearance from lot to lot. Does current ingredients match description, i received veggie fx n ingredients have greatly changed, daincihi & amazon show old recipe?

We do not know why the ingredient old lists are showing up or overriding the most updated ingredient list.
However, the changes affected all the formulas across the board. 
Please note that all of our changes were to improve the food in one or another. We have listed and briefly explained all the changes below. 
1. Lymnozyme (a Trade Name and Prebiotic) was replaced by Beta Glucan, a Probiotic. (This was a Koi Food Change and a Cichlid/Marine Addition)
2. Shrimp Meal was replaced with Krill Meal (higher in Omegas and natural 
3. Soybean was replaced with Pea Protein (Non-GMO)
4. Cyclopeze (a Trade Name) was replaced with Copepod Meal (The same thing only the scientific name).
5. Haematococcus algae or NatuRose (A Trade Name for a microalgae based Aztaxanthin) was replaced by just Aztaxanthin (A yeast based Aztaxanthin, which has a better shelf life, is more stable and easier to get.)
6. Milk was replaced with Calcium Carbonate (Both are forms of Calcium, but Milk is a bovine product and much more difficult to export.)
7. Finally...The Minerals past Biotin on the ingredient list (Cobalt Sulfate, Copper Sulfate, Ferrous Sulfate, Magnesium Sulfate,  Ethylenediamine Dihydroiodide) were deleted (These were omitted years ago when we simplified and re-formulated the Dainichi Vitamin and Mineral Mix, but never removed from the label.)
That should be it. We hope this gives you more confidence in our foods and the changes we have made over the years. All the recent labels reflect these changes and we will follow-up with Amazon regarding this problem.
