Duracell PROCELL fka Duracell Medical grade are GREAT batteries -- VERY LONG LASTING!
Duracell has even outdone itself with these batteries! I originally purchased these when they were called Duracell "medical grade" batteries. I mean... if I had medical equipment that ran on a battery I'd surely want it to last as long as possible. Not only that, but the low battery light on the equipment starts blinking very early to let you know it's almost time to change the battery. Since I wasn't using these batteries for life-saving medical equipment, I let the low battery light blink to see just how long I could go before changing the batteries. I was very impressed that there was a super long "grace period" to the batteries' life span before I finally had to change them. Even my computer pro son uses these batteries now. He prefers them over rechargeable batteries because they are not only long-lasting but very dependable. (I've never been a fan of rechargeable batteries, myself.) Down here on the Gulf Coast where afternoon thunder storms sometimes act like "mini hurricanes" and just as easily knock the power out, a good battery is super important -- especially in an NOAA weather radio.

Better Than Coppertops!!!
With a few minutes of research you will see that these batteries are made by Duracell, but are made to meet HIGHER STANDARDS than the Coppertops in terms of capacity and build quality. Coppertops are the "everyday man's" battery for normal demand, but the Duracell Procell is made for industrial use, and is therefore not sold in quantities under a 24-pack, which is why you never see them in local stores. The Procell is not only superior to the Coppertop, it is also a fraction of the price (roughly 50%-75% cheaper per battery). The Procells are a well kept secret. While the public dishes out premium prices for small packs of Coppertops at their local gas station, people in industry buy large quantities of Procells for a fraction of the price and they last longer and hold up to more abuse. Once you learn about these Procells you'll never buy Coppertops again.

The real McCoy but made in China. A good value.
These batteries are genuine Duracells. The box says 'Not for Retail Trade' They work well. Unlike the Duracells you buy in the store, though, these are not made in the U.S. I am satisfied with the product, but will not repurchase.

Great Batteries
I purchased these batteries for my church to be used for our wireless microphones. They last a very long time. For the amount of time they last has varied. I normally have to change them out once a month. If we were using the microphones more often, we probably would change them more. I recommend them highly.

No good, they leak!
I was loyal to Duracell but I kept having items destroyed by batteries leaking their internal chemicals into my electronic devices. After a few instances, including a few times when Duracell sent me free coupons to reimburse me for damage to my devices, I switched to Eveready Energizer and they last much longer before damaging my equipment. I just opened a case containing a laser pointer and both Duracell batteries I had stored for extras were leaking and basically runed the case. The active Energizer batteries were still in the laser pointer and were not leaking. You may have better luck but I doubt it. Things could change but for now I am never going to use Duracell batteries ever again.
