Kestrel 2700 Ballistics Weather Meter

Very accurate and easy to set up, would have given 5 stars if the bullet information on the kestrel link app was correct, however the app gave an incorrect BC reading and Muzzle velocity for the load I am using, easy fix I just transferred the information from Strelok Pro which I already knew to be correct for my rifle, it has allowed me to stretch the legs on my 22-250 out to 500m with relative ease

It does everything It says as per the instructions the Kestrel 2700 ballistics are simple to use and accurate. I believe that it was posted from the USA the home of Kestrel and arrived a few days before the stated delivery date. All together very pleased. Martin D

Very nice piece of gear, even if you're not a long distance shooter. Very accurately put my son on target (after sending his gun/ammo to it) out to 300 yards in light wind (6.5 Creedmoor). Very compact (chew can for scale.... I didn't have a calibrated banana on hand) and I love the included storage case. Definitely would recommend and buy again if needed!

This is a very accurate tool out to the range of 875 yards . I believe it is fair priced for the excellent results I received . If you expect it to give you longer ranges than what you should have read before buying it , you will be disappointed. I bought this to help me to increase odds of accurate shots to that distance , and it does exactly that. This is a tool for me to use for hunting. I’m almost 60 and not into computers and all the latest gizmos. This is very simple to setup. Even for a old guy .

Appears to work as advertised. A bit hard to setup but works when setup complete. Only issue was screen went blank during testing with wind vane and when I measured the voltage on the CR 2032 it was 2.78 volts? Unit still should of not went 'BLANK" so maybe the 'spinning' dislodged battery?? On the other hand, unit worked as advertised when I installed a NEW CR 21032!

I’ve owned this for long enough to get all my inputs perfect and test it thoroughly. 1st round hits out to 750yds every time on 8” by 8” plate. Once you get used to using it adjusting the wind and range and getting a correction can be done in 10-15sec with ease. For those of you wondering, yes my rifle is high quality and fire .3” groups with hand loads at 100yds. However the way I tested this for hunting was to drive my truck out and randomly place a target. Set up and quickly get a correction using my range finder and kestrel. If the corrections were off I wouldn’t have been on a 8” plate no matter how accurate my rifle is at those distances. PS 8mph cross wind one day and gusty 5-10mph headwinds another
