Does this box work with wireless network or do you have to use a LAN cable?

It works both on Wifi 2.4ghz and 5.8Ghz also lan as well. I hope this helps you. It's a awesome bit of kit. Well worth the money IMO.

I am using this on a tcl tv and when i change the tv settings to hdmi 2.0, for hdr, it shows no signal for this device. 2.0 works with ps4 though?

if you have ps4 pro and it works take ps4 HDMI lead out and try that on Nvidia shield on same HDMI port if you get a picture it is HDMI lead try another tv some tcl model tvs have 1.4 ports make sure it is HDMI 2.0 or try reseting nvidia shield to 1080p turn on 2.0 on tv then go to nvidia shield setting and turn on HDR
