This is a very strong magnet mount antenna base for a vehicle. It stays in place very well !

Big magnet holds well. No swr problems. Longer length cable helps in different applications. Connection has held up after a years use.

The magnet is GOOD on this one
Bought this for a Wilson 1000 that I use for 10 meter mobile. The magnet really 'sticks' to the roof of the Tahoe. There has been no movement of the mount even after a few trips on the highway (~60 mph).

Poor Base Cover - C’mon Man!
Base functions well electronically but the rubber slip cover on the base of the magnet is a joke. I purchased a 5” rubber jar opener grip and siliconed it to the bottom of the magnetic base. Problem solved - but who wants to buy a problem? HEY TRAM - FIX THIS. No excuse for the sandwich wrap thin cover you put on it.

This is a well constructed NMO magnetic antenna mount
I am very pleased with the quality of this Tram magnetic NMO antenna mount. The paint job looks to be quite good, and that should prevent rust during years of outdoor exposure on my truck. The center contact is smooth and clean, and shows no oxidation. The coax has a stranded center conductor instead of a solid conductor like most mounts of this type. The PL-259 connector and its rubber boot look to be of good quality. The connector is soldered on instead of crimped like most, and you can see the soldering of the center pin. It is good and clean, a solid solder joint. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

Buy it, save money.
SWR minimal using my dual band 9 inch COMPACtenna. The huge magnet with soft rubber footprint holds it in place above 70 mph at roof corner. It also comes with decent coax. Have not tried wet. I will update later this winter.

Built like a brick house! The best magnet mount PERIOD!
Incredibly well made. The magnet is very heavy and holds very well. The coax is top quality. I use it with a Tram 6/8 wave antenna, which is a very long antenna. The antenna whip blows all about, but the magnet holds is very good, even at very high speeds.

Excellent mag mount
