ion After Color Treatment

Ion After Color Treatment is the only after color conditioner I will use because it moisturizes, softens and effectively makes my hair shiny and smooth. It helps lock in color for an extended period and has a thick and thick texture so it will last longer. It's great on almost all hair types and has a clean scent as well.

Great product, makes colored hair last quit a bit longer.

I never manage to get all the extra color out of my hair when rinsing so normally when rinsing out the conditioner it's still pretty tinted with hair color There was a HUGE difference in the amount of color coming out when rinsing out this treatment. It was a very light tint. So it definitely seems to be locking in the color better 2nd... OMG MY HAIR WAS SILKY SOFT FEELING WITHOUT EVEN STRAIGHTENING. normally after dying it feels a little dry in area regardless of the product but this is all over soft 0 tangle silkiness. My hair also has random waves and is usually POOFY if air dried... this stuff made it dry straight. Like straight enough I just needed to do touch ups

I’ve always loved the ion line, and this conditioner is effective enough for average needs, but just not a “wow” for me. It does make hair feel soft not greasy and gives some shine back, but the effect is very short lived- as in the next shampoo. For background I have mixed-race medium coarse to kinky curls with a little more gray than I’m ready to admit to, but teenagers will do that. It seems like this is more of a conditioner than a treatment at least for dry curly hair.

This makes my hair feel so nice after a bleaching, this is definitely in my after care for monthly hair dying endeavors

Smells amazing and makes your hair so soft. Not sure about the long term color benefits.

I did not get the silky soft hair others have claimed. It may help with keeping your color longer.... However, my hair felt dryer than usual. It didn't claim to help with frizz control, but I can confirm it doesn't. Although my hair looked okay, it did not feel okay
