Thank goodness for Amazon! These 2' shelf lengths are discontinued and I couldn't find them anywhere else. The wall I wanted to add them to is 5', so combined with the 3' lengths, these were perfect. I now have 6 of this type of shelf in various lengths. Pros: Sturdy, strong, relatively easy to hang. If you need to cut the length down, it is not difficult to do with a hand saw, probably took me about 10 mins? (but much faster if you have power tools...) Cons: the 'pins' you are supposed to insert in the anchors are difficult-at best-to install. I ended up using screws instead. So I would be the anchor in the wall, then use a cordless drill to insert a screw. They feel sturdier and it was much faster and easier. To install, you will want/need: a level, hammer, drill w/ 1/4" bit. As stated above, I also recommend purchasing separate screws rather than using the pins. You may also need a handsaw if you need to cut to length. These shelves are great for utility rooms, closets, garages...would not recommend using for any kind of display.

Pretty self explanatory here. It's a strong shelf, holds well, easy to install. I didn't actually install it using the molly hooks (I think that's what they're called----the big anchors that you have to drill the holes with the "J" hook on the bottom to hold the actual shelf back) because I installed these in a basement (with concrete walls). So I used a different bracket to "anchor" the back to the wall, but other than that I still used the regular arm brackets that came with it because the holes were plenty big enough to put concrete screws through. They hold up well and are relatively cheap compared to other shelving (wall shelves, floating shelves, etc). I've used them in other places in my house, I live by them in closets because they are convenient in hanging things in conjunction with putting things on the shelves themselves. All in all, a great, easy to use product that is reliable.

Simple cheap shelf, does exactly what it's supposed to. Hardware and instructions aren't great. Some tips for installation: Clip the 4 hook supports on the shelf as step 1. You can use the assembled shelf with supports to mark the wall. Use your own anchors, screws, and washers for the bottom supports. The nails that come with the shelf are too small and may fall through the supports. All in all, a good shelf that's 1/2 the price of the competitor. Absolutely worth it if you're handy enough to install it.

Otherwise, I hang in on a hook on the wall. - This time I wanted to show delivery people where to put my packages. I tried a crate, but that didn't work too well. These vinyl wire shelves are great for a variety of things.

I read a lot of the reviews about this shelf and decided to buy it knowing that I'd have to figure out my own way to make it work. The price was good so that's why I was ok with the extra work I'd have to put in. Just like most people said, the bars that "hold up" the shelf are worthless unless you reshape them. I used screws instead of the nails like everyone else suggested, which is good because otherwise it just would have fallen down later. The head of the screw wasn't big enough for the supporting bar so I found two nuts that I put the screw through first and that was able to hold the bar without sliding it of the hole. I bought 2 shelves for my laundry room for extra storage. The one above the washer I had to flip the supporting bars upside down and screw them into the shelf above because the water lines were right below the shelf. This actually seems more stable. I also used zip ties on end of the bar that "connected" to the shelf because they kept slipping off. Not most professional or attractive job but it does what I need it to do. If this was going to be in an area that people would see, then I'd get better shelves,but since it's a laundry room, it does the job.

This ClosetMaid shelf kit was easy to install, with all the hardware included – setup was a breeze! It's a sturdy little shelf and instantly provided some much-needed extra storage in my shoe closet. While I found the price a bit on the higher side , it's well-made and serves its purpose perfectly.

I have been searching for a decent lightweight and unobtrusive and cost effective shelf for ages to put up to hold my motorbike helmets. I stumbled across this and it does the job brilliantly. It holds 3 full size helmets comfortably and it was very straightforward to install.

The shelf is sturdy and pretty easy to install. I personally think that it should have come with 3 brackets instead of 2 for even more support, but thats just me. I had extra brackets to in installed one in the middle. Its is a great value for the price and it works great. Like i said before the shelf is sturdy and pretty easy to install with some tools. Don't be surprised for the need off tools because it does say this right below product description.
