What can I say about these awesome binoculars? I got these for my 5-year old grandson for his birthday. He said that he needed binoculars to go bird watching. I was extremely surprised when I opened them to see that they look very expensive. They close up to fit the space between a young child's eyes and open to accommodate an adult. They have a great neck strap to keep him from dropping them. They are compact and are light and easy for a child to use and to transport. The small size does not compromise the quality of the product. They are of such excellent quality, that my miserly brother in law asked me where I got them and said that he couldn't even match that price at Goodwill. He said that he would tell his cousin about them, since he is looking for some good binoculars. All in all, these are wonderful.... and have night vision, to boot!! My grandson loves them. Every time he is here, he picks them up and heads outdoors to look for birds. Now he is asking me to make him a bird book to find birds. Errrrr. I am not sure how to do that for a non-reader, but I am working on that!! These are a great product and the price was more than reasonable.

I'm not sure why these haven't gotten 5 stars from everyone that bought them? These little binoculars are fantastic. No, they are no where near FBI surveillance quality or Secret Service quality. Now, if you go to a concert/sporting event & have to sit further away, you can actually use these to see the performer, athlete, etc...Not well enough to be a creeper to count nose hairs or see what kind of watch they are wearing, but why would anyone?! I used these at a Madonna concert & they were exactly as I expected they'd be. I also used these at a football game. They were awesome to use & look through! I actually bought these to look at wildlife when I go on my nature trail walks & it helps me see across the water & into the trees. These binoculars are lightweight, easy to adjust & look through comfortably & compact & come with a decent carrying pouch & cleaning cloth. They fit right into a pocket. Why wouldn't I rate these 5 stars?! If you're looking for simple binoculars to carry around like I was, these most certainly fit the bill & they met my expectations.

The binocular works as expected with the exception of the foldable eye cups for glasses wearers. The description states they fold, but there is only approx 1/4" of rubber and they do not fold down without rolling back to the original position. As a person who wears glasses, I have found I have to take off my glasses in order to get them to dial in correctly. This is not too big of a problem for my prescription needs, but may for others. They are the perfect size for travel and to keep in my car to view wildlife.

These are not 30x60 binoculars. Anyone who knows about binocular numbers understands the first number is magnification and the second number is aperture or diameter of the objective lens (allowing light). Just looking at these small binoculars clearly indicates the misleading info. They are far too small to generate a 30 power magnification and a 60 mm aperture. Those numbers would make a very heavy and very expensive pair of binoculars. Therefore, you will not achieve great viewing distance nor great lighting, mainly at night. Though, they are a decent pair of binoculars for their compact size. I bought them for that reason and they do the job.

These does work and you get what you pay for. It's very low priced and the build quality is decent. However, since it's so small, the viewing area is SUPER small. This makes it almost unusable at times because you have to align your eyes perfectly. I guess that's the trade off for a tiny pair. I'm using this to travel around so I don't want a big one.

The quality of this item leave much to be desired. Unlike the product listing on the site as being "ideal for birding, traveling, sightseeing, hunting, observation of sporting activities and concerts, etc."this item didn't even survive the shipping process. Once I opened the box to inspect the binoculars it split at the center of the plastic with a large crack. It was as if the piece disintegrated upon opening. This isn't even quality to consider handing over to a child looking to learn about birdwatching let alone using it for any on-the-go travel or sightseeing use. It appears that if it hadn't broke upon unpacking that just one accidental drop from even a small distance would have broken this piece. While it is relatively inexpensive so as not to worry about loss during an outdoor trip, this piece doesn't even have the durable quality that even a kid's set of binoculars have. I don't know if all of the Aurosports brand line is made this poorly but I don't feel I can trust them again after this experience.

These work great in spite of their own size. I just got back from 5 weeks in Africa. This worked as well as most of the larger ones the rest of the folks had, but fit into cargo short pockets easy. I don’t like the way it hangs around your neck, as it doesn’t hang straight but not worthy of taking a point off. And I can’t believe how inexpensive they are. Great bang for your buck.

For what I paid for these little binoc's, I have definitely got value for money. Excellent vision and very compact.
