Door weather strip
Great product, arrived quickly. One thing though, I wish the 3m side was a little more sticky. Once I shut the door for the first time, everything stuck in place.

Not sticky , until…
It fit the frame of my hybrid trailer bed very well. The only issue is the glue. It came with a roll of double stick tape which seems effective but it was only about two thirds the length of the weather strip. If they fix that issue they will get the rest of the stars. UPDATE I installed it anyway with the partial included double stick tape as rain was coming, and closed the bredframe. The next day I checked and with the pressure of the closed bed frame it held and seems secure! No leaks. I am happy and changed my 4stars to 5 stars!

very squishy, but adhesion is an issue
So, a bit of a mixed bag here. The seller thoughtfully provided a roll of 1/4" 3M double-sided tape to help address any adhesion problems in addition to the adhesive backing on the product. The issues are 1) the roll of 3m tape is much shorter than 39 feet (didn't measure it, but I'm guessing only 15 feet?) so you can't use it for the entire project and 2) the only places I'm seeing adhesion problems is in the spots where i USED the extra tape. To clarify, I am replacing the seals on a small marine front-loading fridge and a small top-loading freezer. I removed the old seals and residue using 3m adhesive remover and cleaned the fiberglass gelcoat surfaces well. I used the extra double-sided tape around the perimeter of the fridge door, then peeled the backing off the weather seal's adhesive and installed it - so glue to glue (maybe that was a mistake?). I was careful not to stretch the seal as I installed it, and ran it continuously around the door - with about a 2" radius in the corners. There wasn't enough 3M tape left to do the freezer door, so I did it using only the tape on the seal, again making about 2" radius corners. I left the doors open for a week while I was away and when I returned the corners on the fridge door were just starting to lift - the 3m tape seemed to be letting go. So, my next plan it to purchase some of the 3m Adhesive promoter product to see if that will help things stay glued together. Otherwise I'm quite pleased with the seals - they're doing a great job and compress really easily so I don't have to slam the doors shut. My friend used my left over product do do some other fridge doors and decide to cut/glue the corners rather than try to bend them. He found they glued with crazy glue really well, but the glue is stiff which makes the corner less flexible than would be ideal. It still works however. Perhaps a more flexible glue would be better. Update 7/1 - so I decided to use the 3m adhesion promoter and needed to remove/reinstall the seal. I wound up tearing the seal in the process so bought a second batch to start over with. Re-cleaned the surface realllly well and wiped it down with the 3m liquid per instructions. That seemed to do the trick, and the seal has stayed in place really nicely. It's working better now than any seal i've had before!

Fabulously effective
My house was built in 1929 and has wood windows. Although the windows have been refurbished and have new storm windows, condensation was visible on the interior of the storm windows. Using this product along the edge of where the window closes against the window sill along with "Alien Draft Seal" along the vertical edge of the window has stopped the leaks. This product is very easy to install. It stays put when opening & clsoing the windows, too! Highly recommend.

Adhesive is no good
Doesnt stick well even with tape provided. Used my own double sided tape and worked fine.

One product, many uses . . .
Here is what I've used this for so far that I can remember as of writing this review: 1. Seal up attic opening to built in stairs hatch 2. Close gap between headlights and car hood 3. Quiet cabinet door when closing, keeps from slamming shut (1" piece) PRO: 1. Works for the above. 2. Has good adhesive. 3. Black is always a good color. 4. Can be painted, yup, can be painted, with the right paint, so you can change the color if needed. CON: 1. Price. Yeah, I know, but it's not a Rolex. 2. A tiny bit thicker than expected, but not too bad. OTHER: 1. BUY if you need this for what I listed above, or other uses, go crazy. 2. DON'T BUY if you are looking for really thin stuff to go in window seals, A/C vents, etc. this is too thick.

The best I've ever used
The material is soft so that it compresses. Other stuff this size is so rigid, it made my door/windows hard to close and thus one side would seal and the other side would not. This stuff goes on easy, compresses so I can close the window/door and SEALS across the whole face. My electrical bill is slightly down from last year, so these paid for themselves and are actually saving me money, so when you look at it this way, these are "free". Buy it, install it, start saving $.

Great product but thickness size is too large.
My measurements were correct, but I was not able to close the door completely. The size for the door gap was thicker than advertised. The width was perfect. The adhesive was very strong. In fact, it was hard to remove an able to replace. The rubber was of very good quality and strength, and seemed like it would be very long lasting. A good value and appearance. I did not return it, even though it did not fit, because I hope I can find another purpose for it and it is so well-made.
