It you have a physical therapy assignment using two balls, close together, in my case moving them up and down my spine, these are ideal. The balls have the slightest surface compressibility and give the impression of being very firm. They come permanently joined, so there is no concern about how to tape two balls together for the assignment. I'm using them on my upper back, loosening muscles. I like the results. So far I can't imagine having need to clean them frequently -- they come with a storage bag -- but the instructions sound very simple. They do not emit any scent. I'm very happy with them -- I definitely would order them again.

i've used this peanut massage ball every day, twice a day, for the last 6 years as of this writing. i do not travel anywhere without it. i do a decent amount of stretching after my runs, but first thing in the morning and last thing before bed, i crack my back with this guy, and they are the most satisfying cracks. they release tension, making lower body twists much easier, eliciting more lovely cracks. potential cons: 1) i have a pretty tense back, so i can put my entire weight on this peanut and it will feel good, but it may be too intense for other people. it does not squish. 2) it is super dense and thus a little heavy. but i still pack it everywhere i go when traveling. pro tip: 1) shirts will get caught as you roll this up or down. either roll without a shirt, or pull the neck and hem outward to stretch the shirt as you roll.

These did help with the twinges I was experiencing in m back. However, I think a larger ball would be better for the larger back muscles. Really solid, nice quality.

My physical therapist used one of these on me in his office to help relieve neck and head tension, so I ended up purchasing one for myself to use at home. This little device works great! Iv'e been having a lot of tension in my neck due to poor posture/ computer work, where I am looking down a lot. Using this helped alleviate that tension and really dig into the problem spots on my head. It's durable and small enough to take with me if I ever need to. It is comfortable to use and comes with some notations of how you can use it in other ways, which is helpful.

Good quality and affordable! I get really tight through my whole backside of my body and I can use it to really get deep into the muscles of my back and legs. It hurts, but afterwards I feel a lot less tense :)

Brilliant- gets right in to the paraspinal muscle tension. I used to use 2 tennis balls taped together but this is so much more effective.

This massage ball works well to relieve my foot neuropathy.
