Sketching book
I was advised by my lecturer to get this book for its contents as a good reference for future/product designers.this is a very good reference, easy to understand and once you opened it you will be tempted to your drawings to be as good as the ones on the book or even better. I recommend it to anyone willing to be a product designer!the more you draw the better you will be!!

Interesting book
I enjoyed reading this book, it is a good insight in to how to use drawing techniques for sketching products. There is much attention given to detail, but not as much attention on how to use techniques for the beginner. I was hoping for more step by step instruction and also more furniture design, but that is probably my error at not examining the free look inside. It is an interesting addition to my book collection and I will certainly use it later as I become more 3D design literate.

Been looking for this book for ages...
So I was quite pleased to find it here with not so high price attached to it. Lot's of great and inspirational illustrations inside, I can say that I have picked few techniques from it. Love it! Highly recommended for any industrial designers or illustrators.

Lovely thing to look in
You proberly don't read it from one end to the other.. But it is a nice book to look in and get inspiration for your drawings. A must for people who like marker drawings and have a thing for industrial sketching

Great for my course
I gave currently just finished my first year at uni and i found this book to help me so much in terms of innovation. When given a less appealing project brief i find this book helped me massively to boost my ideas when it comes to getting to work down on paper. By this i dont mean by copying designs, i mean the way other designers in the book actually design and sketch themselves.

A must have for aspiting design engineers
This book is not a set of tutorials. It is much more important than that because of the way the key principles of effective design communication are demonstrated. You will find yourself thinking about your designs in a completely different way and actually focusing on the areas that need improving to produce the results displayed throughout this book. Buy it and practice, practice, practice.

A plenty of graphics
An interesting book that does not explain much through the text, but instead provides a large number of drawings, through which, above all, design students can improve their drawing skills.

I would marry this book !
As a graphic artist and budding Industrial designer this book has been a joy to have and learn from; for the last couple of months I've started my day sketching with this book and a cup of coffee, this has been marital bliss. My sketching skills have improved considerably and I've found myself repeatedly telling myself, oh so that's how this and that is done, followed by I can do it !, followed by It only took me 5 minutes ! The book itself has 2 distinct sections intertwined;a very loose lesson on the various aspects of sketching for product design, and case studies of actual product designers that incorporate some aspects of the lesson at hand. There is ample room for improvement though, while it is chock full of great graphics, photos and sketches,I would rather have had more reference sketches maybe even a compendium of shading, shapes and lightning ,and less case studies,it also lacks on the step by step department, and yes it follows no clear path and just trows itself recklessly into the subject;this is a book best read in small doses with some markers and paper at hand. In any case these flaws are easily overlooked by how useful and effective it is as a learning and reference tool.
