These are amazing!
I absolutely love swimming laps with these. I just started swimming recently but am up to (apparently) swimming a mile ever day, 7x a week. But I had no idea how far I was swimming. I tried to keep track in my head but that didn't work. I wanted something accurate and completely hands off - I saw other folks messing with their watch every lap and didn't want that. Being able to see every second how far you have gone and how much time has passed is just awesome, all hands free. Now that I have more information, I am starting to make goals around all kinds of things, lap time being a new one for me. Got the heart rate tracker they suggest that sits at your temple. Pros: - accurately detects lap swimming, knows when you turn, tells you how far you've gone, how long you swim, how long you rest, and you dont have to do anything but get in and swim. - makes you feel like a freaking badass. It is seriously a data nerd's dream. I find myself excited to put them on and get to business. - very comfortable - the heart rate thing they suggest clips to the strap and boom, now you can see bpm too. Separate purchase. Cons: - while very accurate, it is not 100% accurate. It will typically miss 1 turn per swim (1.3% for me), resulting in swim metrics 25 yards fewer than it should be. It isn't a big deal, but it is annoying that it is so accurate except for one turn per day lol. - the app is visually overkill if all you want is lap metrics. They have all this other stuff like suggested training, swim patterns, etc. It is possible I will use that eventully, but I feel it should get less visual space in the app than the metrics. Makes it feel busy. - compared to other googles, you might feel like you have tunnel vision or horse blinders on with these. I got used to it immediately and actually found it helped me focus, but I could see how people might not like this. - pricey Verdict: If you can afford it, and data is important for your training or motivation, you will LOVE them. I find being able to literally always know where I am and how fast in going and fire much is left hugely motivating during the swim when it's actually important.

Worth purchasing
I consider myself a serious long distance swimmer. I bought the goggles because I wanted something which could keep track of my distance and time, and which would allow me to just focus on getting through a long swim without losing track of which lap I had just swum or how long I've been swimming. After setting the pool length, I had no issues with the goggles keeping track of laps. Every time I turned around, the goggles registered a lap after a few seconds and told me how fast I had done the lap and then switched to my overall time and distance. I'm not interested in the workouts, and I will say the app is pretty dense and difficult to navigate. It took a while to figure out where my swims were, and it took several attempts to sync the goggles. Since that first since I haven't had any problems, and I now know where to go to see what I did. To be honest, everything is given in the googles at the end of your swim. I don't do flips when I turn around and the googles were fine registering me stopping and turning around. Sometimes, I stopped to catch my breath and the googles automatically sensed this and went into rest mode. That said, It took me several swims and different nose pieces to find the one that fit without hurting. In traditional goggles, the nosepiece is rubber and flexes. The supplied nosepieces are hard plastic and don't give, so they don't adjust to your face. They provide 8 different sizes. The case is nice and well made. The goggles are quality. I had no leak issues and they didn't fog up. The goggles came fully charged and ready to go (minus set up such as entering your personal info.) I need bifocals, but wear glasses only for distance. If I need to read, I take off my glasses and bring the book to my face. I have contacts for distance. I had thought that because the info screen was close to my face that I wouldn't need to wear contacts, but for some reason you need distance vision to see the screen. I just wear one contact in my right eye and when I'm done swimming, toss it and switch back to glasses. It does take some time to get used to having a data field hovering in front of you while swimming...especially when it's only one eye. Thankfully, pools have a black stripe on the bottom so I can use that to swim in a straight line. Overall, so far, so good. They have definitely improved my swims. It's easier to distinguish between actual effort and perceived effort. It feels like I'm exerting myself when in reality I'm going slower than I feel and the googles help with that. But, like I said, I'm concerned with distance...not time...but I don't want to be too slow and waste time and energy when doing a long swim, so the time display is a good nudge to keep on pace. Edit 10/4/24 In order to use the Goggles you need to pay. I thought I already paid when I bought the Goggles. It’s $100 a year. Why do I need to pay when the goggles already tell me distance and time? Money grab which isn’t cool.

I started out looking for a watch and ended up buying these.
I did not even know smart googles existed! I bought them unsure of how it would end but I'll tell you upfront, I absolutely love them. First, there was an issue with the app. Fortunately, I forgot to return them and the first thing on Monday, the company contacted me and fixed the issue. They definitely exceeded my expectations!! One the first use, I was very concerned that having the display directly in my eye was going to give me motion sickness. I am also blind in my left eye, and after reading reviews, I was left feeling that I would have an issue seeing where I was swimming because the display would have to be in front of my good eye. So many concerns but I gave them a try anyway. I have absolutely no issue seeing in front of me, the blue line beneath me, or the person in either lane next to me. Well, actually, I see as much of the person as I want to see. Can I observe their posture, kick, or form? Nope and I don't want to. I can see them come and go and that's enough for me. Again, I'm blind in one eye and I see everything I saw prior to wearing these googles with no issues at all. The display is placed directly in the middle of the google but after a swim or two it becomes normal. When I want to look at it, I do but when I don't I just look through it at the pool. It is not distracting or intrusive. I swim with a waterproof MP3 player and it clips onto the google strap and I tuck the headphone wires under the straps. The goggles don't move or leak during my entire one-hour freestyle swim. They stay right where I put them and they are very comfortable! Not even kidding, after getting the proper strap tightness the first time, I have not tightened them again. I put them on, pull them a few times, and pop them over my eyes. No leaks ever. When the googles arrived, I put them on and decided the medium curved nose piece was for me. Per the instructions, I took all the pieces to the pool for my first swim but I didn't need them. The nose piece fits perfectly and continues to be trouble-free. It is so amazing to swim and not have to keep checking the clock! Yes. It's the simple things. It's even better to know the distance, and other metrics that I choose using the app. When I turn the goggles on, it takes several seconds to sync with the app, I select the type of swim, and I press start when I'm ready to begin. I only need to touch the googles again when I'm done with my workout. There are only 2 buttons to press and it only takes a few times of using the goggles to get the hang of it. Very minimal learning curve so you're swimming, not messing with tools on the side of the pool. The smartness of these goggles is awesome. I usually swim all freestyle but decided to do some drills. When I finished and looked at the stats, I was shocked to see that the system was quite accurate at distinguishing drills v. freestyle without me doing anything to set it up. Accuracy was a little off but it was nice to not have to figure it out on my own or, more likely, just not track those lengths. After your swim, you Save and Quit. Then you can turn them off. When you're dry and ready, turn them on, and sync with the app to view your stats. Lots of data to spend time with. Although you can export the data it would be really great if an app update added the ability to compare data so that I can quickly see my performance over time. This would be super helpful!!!

Incredible!
At first glance these goggle seem expensive but they are totally worth it. It counts your laps for you, gives you critique on your form, and most of all it makes it very easy to do a legitimate swim workout. You can either make your own workout or choose from many pre-existing workouts on the app. It's literally like having a swim coach on your face. The goggles themselves are very comfortable. They are nearly the same size and normal goggles. The Hud (or whatever it's called) is easy to see and gives you all the information you can want. The form app is great and syncs with the goggles very easily. If you plan on doing long workouts in a pool, these goggles are incredible, definitely get them!

Great product, but Pool size limits home use and complicates building workouts
Just tried them I out with some test laps in different modes. Wife got these as a present without realizing they have 15M limit for pool swims. Our pool is 40ft or 12.4M. Quick try it works when I set it to 15M but all my distance related data is going to to be off by about 17%. 20x40ft is one of the most common back yard pool lengths, in US at least, you think they would give you the 40ft option since it seems to work ok. The workouts must be made to 25 or 50M lengths. It says it will track your turns/laps but because you can’t set custom lengths, you have to do the mental math to setup a workout so you finish at desired lengths. It will record the actual length you went Based on your pool size selected. Seems like a small add that could be made to allow custom lap lengths to fit your custom pool size. The display seems to work fine and I can see it easily while I swim and think it will be helpful in open water. Finally I have two Garmin watches and neither are compatible. These limitations are all in the info and they are not hiding or trying to deceive, but my search for a small pool solution to count the many laps one must do to train at home continues(garmin watches are 17.5M so it’s better than that at least ). I plan to use for the first year and will update this with more info later as I get real workouts in. I am thinking it will be great for pacing in open water. Updated I just set up a workout and used it. It was great, best tool for keeping track of my workout and Laps yet! and upped rating, even with limitations I have with home pool

Terrible product
I think this is a terrible product with terrible customer support. The goggles strap breaks easily and mine broke before my first swim. They use an AI bot, and it takes forever to get a human response. When you use the goggles, if you don't have a premium account, every time you try to use the goggles, it prompts you to buy a premium account. The navigation on the goggles is not very user friendly. Everything about this product is them just trying to get you buy a premium account.

Real time data for swimming makes a huge difference
These perform exactly as advertised. They are comfortable to wear and easy to set up. The app is also exceptional. The data is laid out perfectly and the charts are great. After just a week it has made a huge difference to my swimming. I used to count laps in my head and take a look at the wall clock every 5 laps. This is just so much better. I can see my time for every length and focus on how I am swimming. Unlike other devices I have had, the length count has been correct for every swim. I also bought the Polar optical heart rate monitor and I recommend that for anyone buying these goggles. I like the multitude of options for the swim screen, turn screen and rest screen. However, I wonder if it is possible for the maker to include two metrics on the bottom row in the swim screen. Currently I have the length count there but I think there is space for the heart rate as well. Wearing these goggles does not feel any different to a regular pair but I notice that when I swim there is turbulent water running over the left lens (only the left one) which makes for a slightly blurred vision of the bottom of the pool. This doesn't happen on other goggles I wear. Of course I don't actually need to see the bottom of the pool, but the blur is a little bit annoying. I will probably just get used to it. It is a great product, very well designed and well manufactured. The app is brilliantly thought out. Thanks Form!

Unmatched Performance and Innovation
First and foremost, the display technology is nothing short of remarkable. The built-in smart display provides real-time feedback, allowing me to track essential metrics like lap count, split times, distance, and even stroke rate without disrupting my swim. It's incredibly convenient and helpful, especially for serious swimmers who want to improve their performance and technique. The comfort of these goggles is exceptional. The soft and adjustable silicone straps ensure a secure fit, preventing any leaks or discomfort during my swim sessions. I also appreciate the anti-fog coating, which has kept my vision crystal clear throughout my entire swim, no matter how intense the workout gets. Another standout feature is the seamless integration with the FORM Swim App. The goggles sync effortlessly with my smartphone, enabling me to review and analyze my swim data in-depth after each session. The app's user-friendly interface and data visualization have been instrumental in identifying areas for improvement and setting new personal goals. These googles are making me compete myself to become a better swimmer. I am loving it! Whether you're a professional athlete or a recreational swimmer seeking to track progress and enhance your skills, these goggles are a must-have addition to your swim gear. I'm thrilled with this purchase, and I can confidently say that these goggles have made me a better and more motivated swimmer.

Great quality compatibility
Amazong glasses ivd had them for pver 3 months. Its like a personal trainer in your glasses. Make your program on your phone or take the programs provided by form app and sync them to your glasses. The app is free for a year so you can download 5 programs to your glasses and havr choice. You can even download a 12 week tri program for on and off season and other programs. All this is compatible with STRAVA app auto transfers all your data automatically oncexin proximaty to your phone and also syncs to your form app. The details of your swims are amazing even ip to the angle of your head is given for max performance speed and strength. I definetly recommend these goggles. I havent used them in open water yet but you can also pour switch from pool to open water with gps compatibility when wearing a watch. Wait till they come on special before but diefinetly worth the investment. Comes with a hard case nose piece adjustement fof all types of people. Battery is also amazing uses about 5 to 10% for every 2000m thats including power loss between trainnings every day. I charge them every three days but there is still 75% charge in them so i figure you could swim a full week before charging. This is based on a 2000m trainning routine 5 days a week.

Expensive, but absolutely worth it
As a regular (but still amateur) swimmer, I've found these to be a game changer. Build quality is superb (even if the anti-fog still fogs a little); they're comfy and come with a comprehensive set of nosepieces to guarantee the best fit. Given the amount of technology packed into them, they're very unobtrusive; you'd never know that they were smart goggles by looking at them. The display is clear and easy to customise, with dashboards for swimming, resting, and turning. You can pretty much choose whatever data you'd like for each of them. There is a slight reduction in peripheral vision, but the HUD doesn't interfere with your vision nearly as much as some reviewers have stated. The app is simply brilliant, and captures plenty of rich data – its integration with Strava is fantastic, with an elegant image showing your stats. There are a few niggles. You do need to keep them on, and not rinse them when you're resting. Doing so might compromise the coating, and also tends to misregister as additional lengths. But that's a minor quibble giving that this is cutting-edge tech. It's like being in a little fighter jet. Sadly without the torpedoes...
