Bandai Hobby HGBD: R 1/144#01 Earthree Gundam Build Divers Re: Rise

As a long-time Gunpla enthusiast, I can say that the HGBD:R Earthree Gundam is an absolute joy to build. This kit is a perfect example of why model building is such a great hobby. The engineering behind the 'Core Docking System' is impressive; switching between the Core Gundam and the Earthree armor is smooth and satisfying, and everything snaps together with that perfect Bandai precision. The articulation is fantastic for a 1/144 scale High Grade. You can pull off some really dynamic, iconic poses without the armor pieces falling off. The color separation is also top-notch, meaning it looks incredible right out of the box even if you don't paint it, though a little panel lining really makes the details pop. I’ve spent hours working on this one, and it’s easily one of the highlights of my collection. Whether you are a fan of Build Divers Re:RISE or just love solid Gundam designs, this kit is a must-have. It’s a fun, relaxing, and high-quality build that reminds me why I love this hobby so much. 5 stars!

It doesn't matter if you have never built a Core Gundam kit, never built a Build Divers Re:Rise kit, or never built a gunpla kit, this is a fantastic place to start! This is easily one of of the best kits of its kind--the Core Gundam kits--and you can find enjoyment here no matter who you are. There is honestly nothing but praise for this kit. In terms of the build process, this kit will treat you well regardless of your skill level. For beginners, the instructions and pieces are straightforward and intuitive. What makes this kit especially welcoming is the fact that the Core Gundam is built first, so you get rewarded with a building buddy as you finish up its armor and weapons. For veterans, this kit is a breath of fresh air as the Core Gundam and PLANETS system gimmick are both well-executed and solid. The articulation is robust and has a range of motion that can go from good to great. The aesthetics for this kit are clean and simple, with great color accuracy (only stickers used are for the eyes, head cameras, weapons, and the PLANETS system hangar). You will have fun either playing with or posing this humble kit. If I had to mention some negative aspects, it would be the polycaps and the use of friction in the armor system. Polycaps are inherently inconsistent, so watch out as some joints may be tighter or looser than others. And the actual Earthree armor, as well as all of the PLANETS system armor (Core Gundam armor), is attached to the Core Gundam via friction without any locking mechanisms. This can result in some loose fits from kit to kit, especially in the front skirting armor and shoulders. Overall, you cannot go wrong with the Earthree Gundam. At $20, this kit is the full Core Gundam package: the Core Gundam, the armor, and the weapons (and a stand). Not all Core Gundam kits are made the same, so this one stands out as a fantastic starting point. This is an extremely welcoming kit to both beginners to building or beginners to this series. The Core Gundam is a joy to build and to behold. The Earthree armor functions well and looks brilliant while doing so. This kit is easily in the top 3 Core Gundam kits (the other two being Jupitive and Anime[Rize]), and I would even say one of the best High Grade (HG) kits you can buy.

I like the idea of a guy getting into a mech, and then his mech getting into another mech. While that's not EXACTLY what's going on here, I digress. The Core Gundam is such a cool little guy that I was hard pressed to armor him up in the Earthree armor. Recommend for the Core guy alone.

Fun to build

My first completed kit and a very fun one to build. A couple complaints, though: the hands are built from two pieces that form around whatever weapon it's holding, which means you can either take them apart, put a weapon in, and close them back up, or hold it together and push the weapon in. This isn't a huge gripe, but the hand pieces are also rather loosely held together, meaning that they'll often split apart when the model is being moved. I recommend gluing the hand pieces to each other. My other issue is the reason this kit took a long time to build (about 6 hours, twice as long as a similar kit) because it forced you to build the armor into a support unit FIRST, then apply it to the model. Overall, good kit, I recommend it

I like this little fellow, it’s quite hilarious putting him next to the others in my collection. The ship that holds the armor could definitely do a better job at actually doing its job, but I don’t really care because it’s ugly and probably won’t be on display anyway. The armor holds on nicely so no complaints there, im a fan of the design, and the articulation while nothing that crazy isn’t bad either. Overall, I do not regret my purchase, and am satisfied with the product.

As a gundam newbie this was a great introduction. It went together in a few hours which was a perfect combo of enough work to be rewarding without getting dull or intimidating. I recommend getting some sanding sticks, a good pair of clippers, and getting to work on building yourself a mechsuit

Fun kit to put together

Overall it is really hood, it is a two in one model, you get a smaller gunpla with armour that can go on the ship. The only complaint I have a the hands they fall off very easily, when I move the weapon or shield even slightly the hands fall of

Questo Gundam Rise Earthree è un mobile suit di appoggio con caratteristiche interessanti che lo rendono sia molto giocabile che posabile: le parti blu dell'armatura possono staccarsi e unirsi ad altri pezzi presenti nella scatola per formare un aereo da caccia, rendendo il modello insolito ed originale. La qualità è sempre ottima , come con tutti i modelli di difficoltà HG (High Grade), e la precisione della fusione delle plastiche è tale che anche un bambino con delle piccole tronchesi potrà separare i pezzi dalle sprue (le basi su cui sono attaccati) senza troppe difficoltà, a partire dagli ultimi anni delle scuole elementari. Il prezzo è assolutamente in linea con la qualità del pezzo e non posso che consigliarne l'acquisto.
