Whether your a sportsman, a backpacker, tent camper, or whatever. For the price, this is a great gadget to have on hand. Even if just to keep in your vehicle emergency bag with a pack of matches, a bottle of water, and some Instant noodles. If you backpack, a couple of sets are handy. One set for you and an extra in case someone comes along and forgets eating utinsils (and they eventually will).... you've got their back. Plus, easy to clean stainless, and they all lock to each other for easy storage. I know, some are going to say, disposable plastic is the way to go. Light, cheap, and you can get extras free at your local fast food joint if you play your cards right. But hey....this way you are lowering your carbon footprint. Being more green. Plus lets admit it. Isn't it really a pain in the tukas when your dipping into your Backpackers Instant Stroganoff, and your chency plastic spoon breaks??? Get you one of these. They are good to have when you need it.

Works great

I just got this utensil set in and took it out of the box. They are stainless steel and not too thin either. My first impression is that they will hold up well in use and in the pack. My only valid complaint is that the rivets are on the spoon. Spoons and forks are curved. Knives are straight. When stacking, it makes the most sense to stack curved items on top of straight ones, so the straight ones aren't pressured to bend into the curved utensils. However, with the rivets on the spoon, you need to place the fork in next (for least resistance) and then the knife. With two utensils already stacked, the knife is a tad (very slightly) difficult to snap in. Then, it bends just a little as you place it. If the rivets were on the knife, the fork and spoon would simply sit right on the knife. My second (and non-valid) complaint is in the product packaging. It comes with a pouch, a fact I must have missed when reading the description. The pouch is cheap vinyl, plastic, PVC, crap something. Mine came basically stuck in the glue of the seams of the package itself and so ripped ever so slightly when taking it out. Furthermore, some of the hard-plastic packaging is stuck to the side of it. This complaint doesn't matter because who cares about this anyway; it's just annoying. Really, you could wrap these in a small piece of cloth or canvas and tie a knot around them -- that'd be fine; who needs the cheap pouch...

I recently purchased a Mr Bento lunch jar to pack my lunch for work. Saving lots of money and eating better food. My jar comes in a nice bag with inner pockets, this set fits there nicely and because it's tightly stacked there's no rattling around. This design has been around a very long time for good reason, it works. This particular set is very well made and easy to keep clean, I would buy it again.

The quality news is actually pretty amazing and the stainless steel is nice and smooth unlike some cheaper ones I've seen. My only complaint is that the knife is very dull, but to be honest I bought it for the spoon and the fork which work perfectly.

good product and built well but there is design flaw. the way they are linked together causes the knife to bend two of the spokes on the fork. the spoon is the base with the fork in the middle and the knife used to lock them into place. its a small flaw and really doesnt matter all that much but it is a bit of a pain to fix the fork all the time. it is surprisingly useful to have. i originally got it to go with my backpacking gear but i use it now with my lunch when im at work. it is a decent product and the utensils are made pretty well. it isnt actually stainless steel as ive used it once and it has some stains on it that arent coming off already.

Exactly as promised. Very good quality and ideal for a back pack trip my son is taking. We needed something that would not be too small to eat with daily and these fit the bill perfectly. Clips well together. Quick and easy.

I love having spare utensils in the car. They are doing the job just fine.
