Does it come with the basket & stem inside? or is it just the pot?

Hey there, I have a pot similar to this and it has the stem, aluminum, so soft I can crush it in my bare hand, so easy to break. You do not need the stem/basket. Does this have the same coating on the inside of the pot as is on the outside?

Yes, fairly thin coating that seems painted on. Had to return mine because of chipping on exterior.

What color is the pot?

The pot is black with tiny light colored (white or grey) speckles

if it doesnt have a basket or a stem how do you make coffee.....do you use instant????

Just pour the coffee grounds directly into the water and bring to a rolling boil for a few minutes. the longer it boils the stronger. Turn heat down and take about a cup of cold water, pour some down the spout and then pour the rest around the edges of the inside of the pot. the cold water pushes the grounds to the bottom and if done correctly you will not have grounds in the coffee when you pour and it is very smooth cup.
