Empty Nest, Full Freezer — These Make It Possible
I grew up in a large family, and I truly only know how to cook for 4+ people at a time. That's great until your nest is empty and you are suddenly cooking for one, and HATE wasting food. I mean, my neighbors appreciate me sharing meals with them, but there is a whole new world out there because of these cubes! The Souper Cubes are the best method of frozen food storage I have ever used! The silicone is of excellent quality and there is an internal metal frame that prevents these trays from collapsing when filled, They can even be stacked upon each other when placing in the freezer. They completely hold their shape no matter what you put in them and when you stack them! Absolutely no sagging, drooping, or spilling trays - which believe me, I have experienced with other brands. I have purchased the 2-cup and 1 cup trays and I love them! So far I have used them for soups, my homemade bone broth, casserole servings, sauces, baby corn breads, spaghetti sauce, and even mini meatloaves. Once frozen, I pop them out and store them in 1 Gallon Freezer storage bags that I label so I can reuse the trays. TIPS: 1. Don't overfill past the line or they won't all fit neatly into the 1-Gallon Freezer Bags. 2. I fill them directly on a cookie sheet and then put the whole cookie sheet in the deep freeze. This is the easiest mathod I have found - once they are frozem, I pre-label ziplock gallon bags and put the cubes in them to thaw and use as needed. 3. I have a couple of friends who struggled to get their food out - I just set it out for a few minutes and then push up from the bottom of the tray and presto! 4. Don't pick up from the bottom unless frozen, as the silicone is pliable and you WILL have a mess. This is the chief reason I use the cookie sheet method. This has really leveled up my meal prep and empty nest cooking game. I tried a cheaper model but the lids were a DISASTER. Flimsy is not your friend.

The First Original Design on The Market
These Souper were the first of these products on the market, now there are tons of knock off, but the Souper is still the best. They nest to save space, but it works best with four or less. The inner band the forms the support rim is stainless steel, another sign of the quality. You can bake in these also, which I do from cakes to lean meat loaves. I make individual servings of stews, chilis (shown in photo), lasagnas, in the 2 cup version. Individual spaghetti sauce in the 1 cup version. Mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, veggies, and homemade applesauce, in the 1/2 cup ones (shown in 2nd photo on the left side). I have all the versions that Souper makes. I could show you lots of photo, LOL, they work so well. Once they are frozen you can take the food out and put them in ziplock bags and reuse the Souper. (Four of the chili servings will fit in one Ziplock gallon bag.). It is so easy to cook large batches and then divide among the Soupers and freeze. When you want a meal, just pick what potions you want and put them in divided glass dishes, and bake everything in that one dish in a HotLogic, but an oven or microwave works too. Don’t miss the cookie Souper either, because it really helps at Christmas — makes the perfect cookie size. Oh and they come with a terrific oatmeal cookie recipe sized perfectly for the cookie Souper. I make the dough one day and bake another; you will be shocked at how much easier that is. It’s even great to bake just a few cookies for us as we want them rather than a full batch. They are sold in sets of two. They also make a sampler set, but I find at a MINIMUM two sets of everything works the best for batch cooking. Anyway, I couldn’t recommend the Soupers and the sellers more highly. By the way I found a perfect container at Staples to hold them, which really helps, (shown middle photo).

Love my Souper Cubes! So versatile and convenient!
Love my Souper Cubes!!! These came quick, in the original packaging, and without damage. Thick, store a lot of food, and don’t trap smell. You can store your food in the cubes themselves, or pop them out once frozen and reuse the cubes for more freezing. I love them! Dishwasher safe as well.

Perfect for Meal Prep and Freezing
These Souper Cubes are amazing! The 2-cup size is perfect for portioning meals, sauces, soups, and even lasagna. The silicone is sturdy yet flexible, making it easy to pop frozen food out without hassle, and the lids keep everything protected and organized in the freezer. The quality is excellent, and cleanup is super easy. The 2-pack is a great value—these have made meal prepping so much more convenient. Highly recommend!

Perfect for stocking up
Very durable and just perfect. Bought these for chili but I made a crockpot full of goulash for my husband and these held all the left overs. Very easy to pop out once frozen too

Pops right out for easy meal prep
I received this as a gift. I liked it so much that bought it as a gift for my daughter. I use it when I make large batches to freeze. The only reason I give it a 4 star instead of 5 is the ice crystals that form on the top of the food. That doesn't happen with other freezer containers. However, I really love how it pops right out of the silicone part. I can the move it to my silicone freezer bags combined with other self-prepared frozen foods to meal plan. I never heat up the foods in the containers I freeze in. This way I can plop them right out into a pan or an oven depending on what food I froze. I don't need to defrost just pop it out frozen.

Souper Cubes are fantastic!
I previously owned lesser quality portioned silicone trays. Filling them frequently meant a mess over the counter, because they would collapse as I filled them. And, maddeningly, I was unable to stack them in the freezer because the weight of the second top tray would collapse the bottom tray. Since I don't have unlimited space in my freezer, this negated the entire reason for buying them, since I had to wait until one tray was fully frozen to place the second tray into the freezer. I do not have either problem with the Souper Cubes, at all! The Souper Cubes are wonderful! The silicone is of excellent quality and there is an internal metal frame that means these trays do not collapse when filled, nor when stacked upon each other when placing in the freezer. They completely hold their shape no matter what you put in them and when you stack them! Absolutely no sagging, drooping, or spilling trays! I have purchased the 2-cup and the 1-cup trays and I love them both, although I find I use the 2-cup trays most often. I have, so far, made soups (Cajun Chicken, Sausage with Wild Rice Soup, Spicy Bean with Bacon Soup and French Onion Soup), chili, spaghetti and meat sauce, and taco meat, then used my Souper Cubes to freeze and store them. I can either keep them in the Souper Cubes or drop them out, once frozen solid, into storage bags so I can reuse the Souper Cube trays. I find the 1-cup trays are great for those times I make too much of something, like sautéing up a whole onion and only needing half of it, or making too much wild rice or rice pilaf. It's great to be able to compactly freeze and store the leftovers, so a night I merely want to sauté a salmon fillet I can add rice pilaf (or whatever) as a side. And the next time I need sautéed onions I already have it. It's also good for small portions when I just want a snack. Cleaning the Souper Cubes couldn't be easier. I pop them into the dishwasher and they come out perfectly clean, without a sign of discoloring, even when I've stored tomato-based sauces for weeks in them. For those who have Instant Pots, you know that the silicone ring can take on a horrible smell. Well, the best way to prevent ANY smell to silicone, I've found, is to simply pop them into the dishwasher with Cascade Platinum. I don't know why, but it removes ALL smells from silicone. Case in point, I have an Instant Pot and only 1 silicone ring, and I cook constantly, yet no matter how stinky it goes into the dishwasher it comes out without a smell. Lessor dishwasher soaps don't do it. (In fact, I put the entire lid of my Instant Pot into the dishwasher so I don't have to hassle with taking the silicone ring out and putting it back; it works and leaves the lid sparkling clean and in perfect condition.) I've seen complaints from people who apparently do not know how ice cube trays work and are unable to get their frozen food out of the Souper Cubes. So a little primer here, simply let your Souper Cube filled with food sit on the counter for 15 seconds to 1 minute and it will pop out easily. If you can't wait, simply run the bottom under running warm water for 1-2 seconds.

Ingenious Necessity!
I received a set as a gift and immediately bought another set. So awesome. I freeze soup, pop it out, then vacuum seal it for lunches. Done! Lunches set for a month! Such great quality as well. There are metal pieces inside holding it so nothing can collapse. The lids fit well. I have the large capacity 2C sizes which work so well for us. The frozen soups just pop right on out. Recommended them to all my friends!! They save us so much money because we bring homemade soup that is tasty and nutritious.
