Anker Portable Charger PowerCore 20100mAh - Ultra High Capacity Power Bank with 4.8A Output, External Battery Pack for iPhone, iPad & Samsung Galaxy & More (White)

I’ve had this AMAZING Anker Portable Charger for almost 3 years now and I still have nothing negative to say about it! I take it with me everywhere I go and I never have to worry about a low-battery phone. I bought a Qualcomm Anker Single PowerPort along with an Anker PowerLine Lightning Cable and whenever the charger becomes low, I just plug it in with the PowerLine and PowerPort overnight and it’s fully charged in the morning. A fully charged charger gives around 8 full charges for my iPhone 8 and it always charges fast too. For almost 3 years, I’ve never had one issue with my Anker charger and if it were to ever kaput on my one day, I’d buy another Anker charger in an instant. The material that was used to make the charger is clearly extremely durable and very high quality. I’ve dropped the charger a multiple times and it’s never hiccuped. The casing material is so durable that it barely gets any damage from the drops, even with the travel pouch on. The charger is not light but also not heavy—It’s at a good weight for a quality charger. I would hands-down say that this is the best portable charger anyone can buy. The price doesn’t break the bank and the amount of MAh you get for the price is unbeatable. My brother recently bought one like this for his Switch and it’s good to see that the quality Anker puts out has not faultered. I’d no doubt recommend this to anyone and would buy another charger from Anker in a heartbeat.

I'm really not sure what I'm more impressed with, this product, or Anker support. I was not paid, and did not receive a discount for my review, this is just a great product from a great company. I've bought several large capacity batteries recently for my MS Surface 3 (non-pro). While several of them have been equal or greater in advertised capacity, in testing they have faiIed to deliver anything close to the advertised capacity or full 2.4 amp charging rate. Additionally the built quality on all of them have been poor to middling. This unit is very solid, with no flex or poorly aligned seams. The case itself is a "soft touch" that is comfortable to hold and still nice to look at. It is about as heavy as a battery of this capacity should be, though I haven't weighted it, "Light weight" is not a description that fits. That being said, it's equal or lighter than the other 3 I've tried. I had a 5 hour flight recently, and spent the whole time playing "Grim Dawn" which pushes my Surface to it's limit power wise. Additionally my girlfriend in the seat next to me was watching movies on her Galaxy Tab 7. When we landed, this thing still had 2 bars on it, and that was the defective one. The original pack I purchased wouldn't finish charging, I left it plugged in for a couple days and it still wouldn't register as "Full". Anker support responded to my support request in under 12 hours, and replaced the defective unit promptly and politely. In a world of high technology, things will go wrong, even Apple makes a bad iPhone every now and then. The important thing is what the company does when something does go wrong. Anker support is as good as their product are. Buy this. PS, If you think I got paid for this review, just go look at how crappy most of my other reviews are, and realize I like this product enough to write more than 2 sentences about it.

I was really impressed with the Anker 20000 mAh I recieved. Everything from packaging to the build quality was very, very nice. However, when I charged my ipad air 2 and toted it around the house as a test, I noticed that the unit itself had gotten extremely warm just after 30 minutes. I haven't had any trouble with charging smaller items like cellphone, but I had really hoped that this larger capacity battery would have solved all of my charging needs, but it falls short on my most expensive device (ipad air 2). Benefits: it works great using my usb led lightbulb (shines very bright) and charges my samsung or iphones At the same time. I am tempted to get a second unit just for my cellphones and emergency lights, but I am hoping to do more test charges with my ipad air 2, hoping that I can discern why all the heat build-up while charging. I will update accordingly. *****10/11/2015 UPDATE***** Thanks to Anker's prompt response to my unit's heat problem, I will be changing my review to 5 stars. ANKER's customer service contacted me via email to assist, and within a week they initiated sending me a replacement unit as well as a new ANKER Lightning cable in case my cable was causing the heat problem. I think I may have had a bad unit but with ANKER's customer service, I have no doubt that in the future they will help remedy future problems. Thanks ANKER! Your customer service definitely made my day. I have a collection of RAV and ANKER external batteries and a RAV solar panel, and I love putting them to use! I live in a remote area so I feel confident in my battery backup needs. My next purchase will be ANKER's 20 watt solar panel to hopefully charge up my external batteries more quickly :) Happy charging, everyone.

BUY THIS PRODUCT. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. Seriously though, this thing is one of my most valued possessions. My iPhone 5S has awful battery life. Tired of running from wall outlet to wall outlet, I did some research and ended up buying this product. It has been absolutely life-changing (a description I would not use for many other products in the world...) This product charges my 5S fully between 5 and 6 times. I bought this before going to Coachella so I could keep my phone and point-and-shoot charged throughout the weekend. It lasted the entire weekend - and then some! It also helped me reach level 24 on Pokemon GO, because that game drained my battery so hard. This is a high-quality product, but please do not buy it looking for a mini charger/light item. It is heavy and relatively bulky. Although it fits into my jacket pockets & purses, you will notice the extra weight of the item when carrying it around. Therefore, if you're looking for a light charger around the size of your phone, you should find a different item. If, instead, you are looking for a high-quality item which charges your phone RELIABLY for multiple days straight, please buy this item. Also, this pack takes two days to recharge when fully drained. Make sure to plan ahead if you're going to use it on a camping trip or something like that.

I bought this charger while it was on sale for $40 and it was definitely worth it. It charges super fast, never loses charge while not in use, and holds a lot of power. Pros: Extremely portable, good looking, and simple. The lights for the charge percent are easy to understand. It can easily fit in a pocket. I have been able to use this thing for days without it dying while I charged my phone and others. The plastic it is made of feels very well put together and very strong. Cons: They advertise an 8 hour charge time but mine seemingly takes a lot longer maybe even a full day to barge from dead to full. This may just be mine because another friend who has one says it charges much quicker. I charge it while I sleep and only use it on trips or when I know I'll be using for phone a lot so the long charging is not a problem for me. The price even on sale is a bit more than other chargers of the kind. Conclusion: This charger has everything you want. It looks great, works well, and has a very tough feel to it. Must buy!

I ordered this Anker portable charger while on a visit in Ohio. I thought it would be useful for my return flight to Colorado to power my various devices. I paid extra to have the charger set delivered in one day to be sure I'd have enough time to charge the battery before my flight. The package arrived the next day. However, when I opened the package I discovered that although the battery was present in the box, the accessories box inside the main box was empty. The accessories box was supposed to contain the fabric travel pouch and, more importantly, the micro USB charging cable. Yikes! I immediately emailed AnkerDirect via Amazon asking if they could ship out replacement cable and pouch ASAP, but did not really expect to hear anything definitive from them until the next morning. I figured it was unlikely they would be able to get the replacements to me in time, so started looking around for a micro USB cable I could borrow that night to charge up the battery. Success! I found one for another device I that I was able to use to charge up the battery that night. (It had arrived with only a 50% charge.) The next morning I received an email from Sharon at AnkerDirect. She said she had arranged for a replacement to be shipped to Ohio. I replied to her about borrowing a cable and so I was no longer in a bind about getting the unit charged up and asked if she could ship the replacement to my home in Colorado instead if the replacement shipment hadn't yet gone out. She emailed back that it had already been shipped, but she would send a second replacement to Colorado. Which she did. Now I consider that pretty stellar customer service! My only unhappiness was with the original shipment not being complete, but Anker bent over backwards to rectify the situation. As far as the charger itself, I used it on the plane and at the airport for my laptop and my tablet. It worked fine. I'm quite pleased with it. Great power back for the size. Review from an engineer. Design: You can not find a smaller 20k mAh power bank than the Anker 20k power bank... and the main reason for having a power bank is so you can be portable. The matted shell provides excellent grip. The unit fits nicely in your hands. It does have a good weight to it, but it is a 20k power bank. The weight is expected. I did not measure the voltage/amps or thoroughly test if the 20k capacity is accurate. There are other reviews that already did that. From my experience, the 20k capacity is pretty accurate. NOTE: If you are charging the power bank, the power bank will not charge your phone, but that is to be expected as well. If the power bank is charging at 5v/2amps and charging your phone at 5v/2amp, the power bank will be charging at 0v/0amps. Over all: It is what it should be, a power bank and nothing more. I seen power banks with built in flash light... why? if you want a flashlight, get a flashlight or use the built in flashlight in our phone. Adding extra features to power bank just makes it bulkier. A power bank should be small and portable, and Anker did this beautifully. I gave this product 5* because this product is unbeatable in terms of size and capacity. This charger is quite a bit larger and heavier than I was expecting. When I first opened the box, I thought I might end up returning it because, though it is certainly portable, it isn't something I would ever throw in a bag to carry around with me. It is too heavy to put in a pocket or in a pocketbook or briefcase, I think (though again, you sure COULD). However (and this is an important "however"), this monster of a charger charged my iPhone 6 more than FOUR times before I needed to recharge it. That's awesome! I use it at home when my battery is low but I don't want to leave my phone plugged in to the computer. I can carry it from room to room with ease and the phone charges very quickly. Recharging this beast takes a long time, which is perhaps a small drawback (but not enough for me to take away any stars). I had mine plugged in for over 12 hours before it was fully recharged. (You'll know it's done because there are little lights that show you how much of a charge is left in the device.) To recap: I wouldn't use this as a daily back-up that I'd carry around with me. It's too large and heavy. However, it's PERFECT for use around the home or office when leaving your phone tethered to the wall or to a computer would be impractical or annoying.
