I only buy a phone when I have to. My old Samsung Xcover 3 was suffering with a battery degradation and struggling for memory, and the ability to handle some newer apps. So time for a change. I have an iPhone 7 for work but prefer Android for personal use due to an outdoor lifestyle and the need for it to work in sub-zero temperatures and wet conditions. Researched a number of different “rugged” smartphones and decided to take a punt on this BV5900. I was attracted by the price (despite believing you get what you pay for) and generally positive customer reviews. My immediate impression upon receiving it was that it was very well put together from high quality materials. Even the box it came in, not that that’s particularly relevant. I had a few issues transferring all my stuff over and getting apps set up but that was more to do with my old phone being so old with an out of date operating system, and the microSD card also being too old and slow. A bit of tinkering about and a new posh microSD and everything sorted. Had it for nearly a week and I have to say it’s probably the best smartphone I’ve had. At first I thought it was a bit big but figured if you have a large capacity battery the phones got to be big enough to encompass it. Feels normal already and I don’t need to carry a power bank around or put it in a chunky armoured case. Audio is excellent, battery life is exceptional and screen is really crisp and clear. The camera is perfectly good for a phone and compared to all the phones I’ve ever had, only beaten by my work iPhone 7. Despite a fair number of phone calls and quite a lot of texting the battery was still above 50% after two days. All bodes well. Very pleased.

Until recently I have had Samsung phones but when it came time to get a new phone I wanted to look at alternative makes that better suit my lifestyle. As someone in my 50's with a condition that makes me a fall hazard I wanted a rugged phone that was reliable. This phone hase it all. A reasonable camera, amazingly good battery life (think days and my phone is used to listen to podcasts & audiobooks ALL day), a very solid build & very reliable (so far). The large screen is a plus and so far everyone I have shown it to have expressed surprise at the high quality. A great phone and an amazing price, Highly recommend

Great phone, really good value at this price point. Battery lasts several days with normal use. I use viewranger and Google maps and phone works well with these. Screen is bright enough to be seen outside, speaker is loud, though being on the back, it can get muffled when holding phone. Have dropped it several times 🙄 no damage. Not tried out the water proof claim yet..

I bought this phone for my ten year old son & we are both ecstatic with it. It is excellent value for money! So sturdy & robust, it feels strong!! It has amazing features on it. Charges quickly. The screen is superb, large with vivid colours!! It's easy to set up & has everything feautured, that extremely expensive android phones have!! My son is far happier with this phone than the previous well known brand, that cost me four times the price!! I would happily buy this brand again, so far we are extremely impressed!! If your after an IP64 robust phone don’t waste your money of this. The charger cover is so flimsy it will break after a couple of months. So unless you want to keep your phone out of the wet in a plastic bag, you’re better off not buying a Blackview. It’s rubbish. Designed to fail and no way of getting spare parts! But if you are still stupid enough to be tempted - do buy some Gorilla tape to cover the port. You’ll need it!!!!

Why put a flash light so on the phone with locked in system permissions for things it does not need! Otherwise... This phone is brilliant. Good battery life, fast, and very nice to hold and look at. There are no features lacking. The design and build are of top quality, and the camera is decent. When I tell others the price the reaction is normally amazement. There's one aspect to the phone that those with top of the range phones will always back down when offered to do a comparison test: "lets smash the phones together and see which comes out better." Seriously, this phone is solid! It fell on to the floor the other day and I got worried about the floor.

Good value for money Phone, very good customer service, I was offered a replacement phone as I had difficulties with the first phone and assured those issues had been resolved. However nothing has changed and am having the same problems. I would not buy this phone again and have changed my rating accordingly. The rating is for delivery and cutomer service

Pros: it's good spec, tough and good built. Runs fast and screen is good, so is battery life. Had a problem with the phone screen but the after sales team has been quick to reply and solve the problem. Cons: camera is average and the phone is chunky and heavy. In general the weight doesn't bother. Looking at rugged phones they are mostly the same weight. Camera is average but the shockproof and dustproof wins here. In general this is good phone if you're the type to drop it.

Habe das Handy nicht mal ein Jahr und es funktioniert gar nichts mehr hängt sich ständig auf, der Hecklautsprecher ist auch schon abgefallen . Habe den Support von dem Handy angeschrieben nach deren Lösungsansätzen hat es kurzzeitig wieder funktioniert und nun geht es wieder nicht. Darauf hin wieder angeschrieben nun soll ich es auf meine Kosten zurück schicken in deren Lager nach Frankreich! Dieses Handy kann ich nicht empfehlen!

Läuft und läuft bei der Jugend. Hält einiges (!) aus und wird durch das doch merkbare Gewicht kaum liegen gelassen 😌.

El móvil primera impresión está muy bien se ve robusto y para alguien que solo quiere llamar WhatsApp y 4 fotos tiene más que suficiente. La sorpresa es que vendido y enviado por Amazon ha venido con cargador UK... De ahí que le ponga 3 estrellas... Estoy gestionando con Amazon, según respuesta revalorizare

Acquistato per un regalo a un amico, ho avuto modo di provarlo, ed è ottimo, infatti ne ho comprato un'altro uguale per me.

Veramente resistente, l'articolo giusto per chi il telefono lo maltratta un po'.
