Edit: I have been a doughnut and actually forgot to remove the film of each candle. Once removed it is not shiny at all but actually looks and feels like a real candle. Definitely recommend!!! A*+++++ Really love the warm colours of these candles. The moving flames look really real too and the quality is really good. Strong and sturdy. Only downside is the exterior looks too shiny for a real candle look however, I love the overall size and height. Looks really nice on my shelf and the remote control is a bonus. I also bought rechargeable batteries from Amazon because I'm thinking it only makes sense otherwise I can imagine going through a lot of batteries and it does require a lot of AAA batteries. My husband likes using the timer function in the evening so that we don't have to worry about wasting the battery life if we forget to turn them off. Overall, it gives off a lovely warm glow regardless of what colour you go for. I like the fact that you can change the colour according to your mood but we like to keep it on the multi colour function. The colour change is smooth and warm. Definitely recommend and it is so far so good.

These are brilliant. Fantastic value. The candles look very authentic with the flicker option too. Easy to use remote control - fabulous choice of colours. Automatic timer very useful too. Only slight problem is batteries soon run out if you use to multi-colour option - obviously this uses batteries up more quickly so I just tend to use one colour and change it sometimes. Would highly recommend - excellent value for money.

This is a lovely set of candles that is easy to operate. I was inspired to buy them by a studytuber who switches his to a different colour for each day of his livestream to create a calming effect. These candles to just that. The flicker effect is especially lovely. However, the ‘flames’ themselves do not move at all, as I assumed they would. This is no real problem, though, as the overall effect is one of tranquility.

Nice bright multicoloured lights, easy remote control, works well, makes living room look homely.

I've had many battery candles over the years but these are by far the best so far. Love the fact you can change the base colour so we have 1 set in the garden that glow green, another set in the lounge that glow purple and a third set for our motorhome that glow red for that added feeling of warmth.

Good set of real vax LED cadles, the colours are gorgeous and easy and handy to control with the remote. I love them , in Autum and Winter I like to create a cosy atmosphere at home with light candles, very nice to choose the colour appropriate that you like or most appropiate for events, colour therapy etc.They were gorgeous colours but just after few weeks the colours started to messed up and some of them thay dont even exist anymore

Excellent product but quite power hungry, especially on sequenced colour change. Fixed colour (red, blue, or green etc) are less so. Here's the solution... For environmental and economical reasons we use rechargeable nickel cadmium batteries and we have 18 of these so we have a spare set of 9 ready charged for when the other 9 run out. The used ones go straight back in the charger so we're never without candles. On fixed colour, I get around 12 to 15 hours of use with a gradual fade out towards the end of power drain. NiCad's have around 1.2V output compared to Alkaline's at 1.5V so expire more quickly but boy do you save a lump money in the long term! The NiCads are available on Amazon. I recommend buying the 1100mAh rates ones and a charger. Might seem expensive initially but you'll soon be quids in. WARNING, ALWAYS RUN THE BATTERIES FLAT OR THEY LOSE CAPACITY. NEVER ATTEMPT TO RECHARGE ALKALINE BATTERIES!

I had lights like these previously but these are better being multi coloured (from the remote) and also flicker effect - they look at first glance like a candle, but without all of the mess and potential danger of a naked flame. Very pleased with this purchase.
