Second one I’ve bought overly pleased.
Great holster for the price I lost my old one at work. Pretty sure somebody tactically acquired. It looks great draws great. Not overly bulky in good quality functions good and fits well.

Excellent Holster for a Great Price
At 13 Dollars I was prepared to be disappointed but was pleasantly surprised. Not Kydex but an injection molded polymer that will probably outlast me. Different feel than Kydex, a little softer but holds its shape when carrying and makes one hand reholstering a breeze. Adjustable retention with a fairly decent "click" when putting the weapon in. Holds my Glock 19 Gen5 solidly without it slipping out even when shaking it upside down. Holster is made for AIWB but I carry it IWB at 4 O'Clock/5 O'Clock. Holds grip close to body and is comfortable. No sweatguard of course, if that matters to you. The clip has been described as "cheap feeling" but I wouldn't say that. It is not as solid as some being that it has a cutout in the center instead of entirely plastic. But it holds your belt perfectly and has a nice solid click when it grabs. Time will tell if it holds up but I suspect it will. Overall excellent holster. I've paid 70 dollars for Kydex holsters that I didn't like as much.

Not Perfect, but Great for the Money
This holster is great for the money. The S&W M&P Shield 9mm fits perfectly, is secure in the holster and the retention is adjustable and it actually works. There are a few hangups. As other people have noted, it's not perfectly comfortable to have the sharp angles of the firearm grip and rear slide poking you. However, it's clear just from looking at it you'll need an undershirt, so no lost stars there. Where it did lose a star is the comfort factor. Full disclosure, I'm a tall guy with a belly (6'5" 260 lbs). I can't sit down with this in the appendix carry position comfortably. I tried both ride height settings and different cant positions, it just doesn't work for me to sit or bend over comfortably. If this was a little more adjustable and I could get the pistol down a little further I think it would at least be bearable, but I'm essentially getting rammed by the butt of my firearm every time I sit down, and if I forget about it and do it too fast it's like getting punched. Now that I've gotten the bad out of the way, I will say I really like it. If I know I'm not going to be sitting or bending over too much, it works very well in the 1 o'clock position. It completely conceals the Shield and is comfortable to wear, even without an undershirt for short periods of time. If I know I'm going to be sitting I can easily wear it in the 4-5 o'clock position without having to change anything and sit on it without hurting myself. For $20, I was expecting a lot less as far as quality. If you're on the fence about this one, I would wholeheartedly recommend it, especially if you're fit and don't have a gut. Heck, even if you do have a gut I would recommend it. Just throwing it out there, I didn't receive any products or compensation for this review(but if Blackhawk! wants to send me some more stuff I would sure like it haha). TLDR: For $20, you get a great holster that can be used in multiple orientations. If you have a gut it might not be super comfortable, but it's still worth it.

Great for skinny people
I swear i have the hardest time finding a holster that works for me considering i am about 135-140lbs. I was a little concerned with ordering this holster so i also ordered one of those elastic belly holsters. I usually jave to appendix carry but with the blackhawk holster i can carry at 6oclock and 5 oclock just as well as appendix. I can ALMOST carry at 3oclock depending on what short i wear, amd if you are skinny like me you know that 3 oclock is almost impossible unless you open carry. This blackhawk holster is one of many i have owned and i have never been disapointed. The only thing that i found wrong wasnt a big deal at all. The clip is attached with one small screw and it FEELS a little flemsy...but after using this holster for a while i can tell you that it is actually pretty stout. It also comes with two diff size clips for diff size belts and the clip has two attachment points, one to ride high and the other to ride high. It is also reversable for leftys and rightys. The pictures dont do it justice. It is much smaller than it looks and it works great for my swshield9mm...and for anybody wondering, the shield ONLY comes in single stack, no matter if its 9mm or .40.....this holster appears to be molded for this weapon in particular so no it will not fit the mp models...only shield....also for the record, i was NOT offered any products for free or discount. it would be nice lol but i really feel that honest reviews are EXTREMLY important when shopping online. I cant stand the people who ONLY leave reviews when something is wrong...i personally only leave reviews when the item is eother really good or really bad....this item was really good and i would suggest it to anybody..big or small

This is a very good inexpensive option for appendix carry
This is a very good inexpensive option for appendix carry. IT is also great that it is reversible because left handed people can use it and switching the side that the clip is on is very simple and quick. The reason I could not give this more than three stars is because there are other much better options available. The material on this is not kydex but a plastic polymer and because of that, it needs to have a very thick wall to keep it from breaking or snapping. This is just too thick to comfortably carry appendix for long periods of times. It is good though if you don't mind that. The cant is adjustable to whatever you want it to be and the ride height is adjustable. That being said, even though the ride height is adjustable, it does ride somewhat high still, even at its lowest setting. I found that the highest ride on this was too high for me and leaning forward even a little made this want to fall out. The lowest ride height was perfect because it was low enough to not want to fall out but high enough to still feel comfortable while sitting well in the hollow spot of my appendix while sitting which allowed for less discomfort.

Great Holster; Horrible Belt Clip.
I think that this holster is an excellent idea, with one major design flaw. The somewhat softer-than-kydex holster itself is simply excellent. I love it. The design flaw relates to the belt clip. The clip is simply not strong enough to retain the holster's position. Worn in the advertised appendix carry position with a good quality gun belt and jeans, the clip bends and releases when you sit down. Then the holster pops up, and can slide over your waist band depending upon how you move. In its current form, at least for my body shape (5ft 10in, 220 ;lbs, 38 in waist, 48 in chest) this thing does not work. It caused my G43 to drop to the floor in my house twice during the first 3 hours I was wearing it as a test. Imagine dropping your pistol on the floor in a restaurant... At a minimum, please be very careful to test this holster around the house for a couple of days before wearing it to CCW in public. I do believe that if Blackhawk resolves the belt clip problem, they'll have a real winner. Thankfully the vendor is accepting a return - just have to pay the shipping cost (sigh).

A great value for under 20usd for a holster.
I've only had this for several days, worn it on and off swapping with a barsony leather IWB holster. The obvious: small holster that doesn't spread out, no body shield which might mean direct skin contact. A couple of things. At 6'2" 215 I figure I'm just too fat for appendix carry. No problem, this holster slides around just fine. Also putting the clip for "high ride" really makes the pistol top heavy and easy to roll the belt. I changed it to the lower setting. I ended up carrying this about 2:30 or so, just forward of the side although I'm still playing with that. I have no problem with the clip itself except that the clip itself is thick and itself prints on the belt, possibly drawing attention to that area. Might just be me noticing that. Otherwise I have to agree this is a pretty darn good value for the under 17usd I paid for. If anything its a good backup holster with good adjustment options. Update: Sadly with no backing I do sweat directly on my shield 9mm. Another update: Now that its cooler I put a tshirt under my normal shirt. I barely notice the pistol now, decided to upgrade to 5 stars, although I wish the holstercame up higher and had a sweatshield option. Another update: A positive: with the clip profile being so small I found I am able to sufficiently tuck around the holster clip to get it to more than adequately conceal when wearing a dress shirt. I need to adjust the holster height as it digs too much into my leg while sitting at the deepest setting. I'll need to work more with the holster settings to make it comfortable for the time I'm at church.

For the price, it's a great holster
Used this holster for a few years and it was easy to place in the waist band with the weapon in the holster. Pretty comfortable to wear even sitting in a vehicle for several hours. Retention screw is nice to adjust to your liking. Conceals a compact 4 inch weapon great. Even had to draw from it once in an incident and reholster without looking at it, it did amazing. I have 3 of these for different weapons. Able to holster a weapon with suppressor sights. Carried at 4:30 position. Great that it's ambidextrous. No problems with keeping the weapon retrained while moving around. Can't say enough good things about this holster, especially for the price.
