Seiko Presage SSA392 Limited Edition Automatic

It’s easy to get caught up in the general gaudiness of a gold watch, and how horrifying that can be. But this one seems to nail it. The dial is mesmerizing. It somehow makes the whole thing borderline elegant. I guess the only thing would be that it is gold pvd (which is a very durable finish, but still prob renders it a non-everyday watch as it is technically “gold-plated” and could take a scratch). I do have that weird, “omg, I bought a gold watch”, but it’s really cool looking). And you’ll never find a solid gold watch for this price.

Loved the watch but too bulky and cumbersome for me at age 77. Probably great for a younger man. Seller excellent for handling the return.

Gorgeous watch with a power reserve. Rule of thumb for mechanical watches is to keep them powered to 40% for accuracy. Now, with this watch you can do that without guessing. I would have given 5 starts except for the fact that it has no luminous hands for night time viewing. If you can live without that, buy it now while it stays at this price...

Bought this item from River Edge Jewelers here on Amazon. I've only used it for a week and noticed the time was running fast (3 extra minutes a day). Called River Edge Jewelers and was told I have to call Seiko and use my warranty. I was told I am responsible for shipping. This is unacceptable. River Edge Jewelers should be replacing my watch for one that is working properly. For that reason, I will be returning this item.
