Bright!!!
I don't write many reviews, and I am not a paid reviewer...I bought this product with my own money at the full price. This light is bright, like a car headlight on the high beam brightness, and it is awesome. It is well manufactured, solid and functions well. The kit that comes with this has everything you need to hook it up to your bike, head or whatever. I used the diffuser on the light, because it makes the beam wider and covers more of an area, and the installation was simple and came with everything you need. I also hooked up the taillight, and it is a nice quality item that came with the required batteries...you can see it in picture number 4. I did have an issue with the charger or the battery, I wasn't sure which it was, so I reached out to the company and was emailed back very quickly from Donald who said he was shipping out replacements. Turns out it was the charger, a simple little broken piece, and now everything is great. This was top quality, personalized customer service on top of an incredible product...what more can you ask for? I know there are $10 lights out there, but once you ride around in a Cadillac, that Ford Pinto doesn't seem like such a deal anymore...this is worth every penny. Picture 1: Light is on bright about 10 feet or so from my garage door...looks exactly like my truck lights (1 beam) in terms of brightness from the same distance. Picture 2: Light on low from about 5 feet away. Picture 3: Light on low with green LEDs lit to show contrast. Picture 4: The included taillight. Picture 5: Just another view. I use this bike to cruise around my neighborhood, and with all of it's lights, I am easily seen. But the headlight absolutely allows me to see whatever I want, it is that bright and I hightly recommend it.

Incredible Light - Even More Incredible CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!
In spite of its size, this is the most powerful bicycle headlight I have ever used. Battery took approximately 5 hours to charge right out of the box. I have used the light for a total of 4 hours now, and it is still going strong, and having the strobe feature is a bonus for daytime riding. I feel more comfortable on the road knowing that oncoming traffic can see me better. If you want a powerful light at a reasonable price, this is it! This light is quick and easy to mount and dismount on the bicycle. The battery pack was also very easy to mount to the bike, and is perfectly sized so as not to get in the way. The standard beam offers enough light for in-city riding where there are plenty of street lamps, but doesn't give quite enough light on either side when riding the trails and back roads. After I installed the diffusing lens, I had no difficulties navigating outside of the city. The lens was super easy to install. I haven't tested the light out in the rain yet, but I am confident that it will perform outstandingly in inclement weather, just as it does in good. But what do I like even more than the light? THE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I have not had such a pleasurable experience with customer service representatives anywhere in a very long time. Even though I ordered my Bright Eyes headlight new, the product box arrived already opened with a couple missing pieces (diffusing lens and velcro straps for the battery cord). I contacted Bright Eyes to inform them of the missing pieces, and Don was extremely courteous and understanding of my frustration. Even though it turned out to be an Amazon warehouse issue and NOT a Bright Eyes issue, Don was quick and happy to fix the problem. I wasn't tossed around from one person to the next, I wasn't shrugged away. Bright Eyes responded to my message within hours, immediately sent the missing pieces to me free of charge, and kept constant communication throughout the whole process. When the missing pieces arrived, I found that Don included a tail light as a bonus, but I was more blown away by the HAND WRITTEN NOTE. No one does that anymore, and I very much appreciated the time that Don took to write and include it in my package. THAT is how you treat your customers, ladies and gentlemen!! I purchased the Bright Eyes headlight on a whim, and I am VERY glad that I did! Bright Eyes, you have made an extremely loyal customer!!!!!

Good light with a few weaknesses
This is a good light. I have had it for 2yrs. I mountain bike and road bike, but I find myself using this as a headlamp most of the time for heavy outdoor night activities. I am a "Lumens guy" and I like bright lights. I have not measured the output but it's plenty bright for me as compared to my other clip on bike lights. I have thrown this in our ski boat at times when I think we might risk coming into the dock after dark. This light is bright enough to work for that in a pinch. It has a few weaknesses: 1. Others have pointed out the lame handlebar mounting system. They are correct. What I did to combat the light bouncing its way towards pointing down as I ride, was to mount the light UNDER my handlebar instead of on top. The light is more stable mounted underneath since it is essentially hanging and it is more stable as it can't go down any further. 2. No strain relief on the wire coming out of the light fixture, especially when mounted on the included head strap, the wire coming from the light is bent at a 90deg angle exiting the fixture and is strained heavily. After 2yrs of light use, the light stopped working. I have basic fixit skills for many things, so I disassembled the lamp and found that indeed one of the power wires had broken loose from its solder connection on the board. I resoldered the connection, and then added a zip tie tightly around the wire INSIDE the lamp body. Now, the tight zip tie takes any strain if the wire is pulled. The zip tie "bottoms out" against the inside of the wire exit hole and doesn't allow any strain on the wire at the circuit board. It was a bit of a pain, but I did it. 3. Battery life is okay for me. Charges quickly. As others have said, do not leave the light plugged to the battery when not in use as it drains the battery very quickly even when off. I just unplug the light when I stow my bike and it keeps its charge. I agree with other reviewers that if you are a rider who rides a lot in the dark, that this light may not meet your needs and you should spend the extra money solely because the mounting is weak and let's the light bounce around. For a few dollars more, this company could have a better mount and a 5-star light easily. It meets my needs just fine. I have attached a photo of the disassembled light showing the white wire broken loose. Sorry but I didn't take any pics of my repair job for you DIY guys.

I have this light mounted on my E-mountain bike, it was easy to install, and in the short time I have had it installed it seems to work great. It is winter where I am, and dark by 17:30 so it was a very welcome addition to my bike. It seems to be a very solid piece and well made, I have not been able to test it's water proofing but I am sure it will hold just fine. I did experience an issue with shipping but the seller was able to get it sorted and made things right.
