Peak Refuel Mountain Berry Granola with Rice Milk | Vegan, Dairy Free | Freeze Dried Backpacking and Camping Food | Amazing Taste | Quick Prep | Lightweight

I brought like six of these for a family of four backpacking trip and they were universally loved. It's basically granola cereal with fruit and the taste is great. Of course this is subjective but if you like granola and berries, toss in some sort of powdered milk and you'll have plenty of fuel to start the day. No boiling needed and with cold stream water (filtered of course) this meal is a real treat when out in the woods.

Ok, I literally just finished trying this. I added one cup cold water, resealed the packet & shook it up and opened it. Looked pretty darn watery. I assumed there might be powdered milk, in the mixture and I would see that, once it was mixed up,,,,nope,,,just looked watery. Tasted pretty good though. The granola was yummy and the strawberries and blueberries were good too. Definitely convenient for back packing but, if I was camping, I think I would add milk instead of water,,,,then it would be perfect. I don’t think this would suffice as breakfast, for two people. Absolutely not.

I take one of these most spring mornings if I'm doing a camping and hunting trip combined. You can munch on it most of the morning, and I usually have a little once I get settled into the woods and then mid morning to finish it off. Good stuff.

UPDATED** - Peak Refuel finally got back up with me and made things right. I appreciate them standing behind their product. I am changing my review from 1 star to 5 star now. One bag had a bad seal and granola was spilled all over the outside of the manufacturer's packaging upon arrival. Leaving a one star review bc Peak Refuel has yet to get back with me on a refund or exchange. It's been 6 days since I reached out - still no response.

The flavor is really good. It's pretty sweet, but not in a fake way. Way too much water based on the directions and would cut in half next time. If you have access to milk, it would be even better. Definitely appreciated a tasty breakfast that didn't require hot water or a stove/fire.

amazingly tasty i still can not really believe it is possible to make such a tasty ready to go meal in a pouch. These have become my go-to breakfast product on my sailboat, stores well and lasts forever (almost) quick to prepare and deliver a satisfying crunch and texture with the granola, the berries manages to taste fresh-ish. very happy with these. Hit it with 8 oz of cold water, close zip and shake a good bit to get all the milk-power stuff disolved. the trick might be going overboard no the shaking, make sure you really close the zip first.

This is surprisingly good!
