It's a good book my daughter loved it

I gave this to my grandson in early June as school was closing in the hope it would keep him reading over the summer. I went over to visit and walked in the door to find him reading it diligently with a piece of paper in his hand. He kept writing letters down and them jumped up and said "I solved it" and showed me the solution. My daughter told me he has been going though the chapters and really enjoying it. She read him the first chapter and then "was too busy to read the next,so suggested he could do it himself". He could and did - reading level is fine for a boy who is just an average 2nd grade reader.

I purchased this for the books in this series for my little cousin, not knowing about them beforehand. She immediately started reading them, writing down clues, and excited to see if she got it right in the end! I always looked forward to her excitement and happy to see that she was enjoying reading!

My 2nd grader loves these books. I read a few chapters every night and have caught him sneaking out of bed to read this book after lights out time. I can't get too mad because he's very excited about reading! Great price for 2 books as well.

The second grader in this house loved these stories! She has to read each night for school and this book made it pleasurable. She was anxious to keep reading to find solution to the mystery. Highly recommend.
