If I could, I would give this 10 stars -- it's that good. I miss JD -- I miss all the "what could have beens" from him. This CD has all of his winners plus it has great sound quality. If you're thinking about starting your own collection, or adding to what you already own -- this is a must have! Best collection of John Denver songs
This is my favorite John Denver collection. It has all of my favorites and not a bunch of other songs that you never heard of before.

I went to high school and part of college with John Duesendorgf - John Denver - sang with the 1960s "style" "hootenanny" Peter Paul and Mary and Mammas and Pappas style singing, or his devolution to singing about the beautiful environment of the USA , or his love of first wife Annie which MANY beautiful songs described his love for her and their love for each other.. When the was killed in the plant crash, I KNOW that ALL students who knew him or sang with him , had ANY type of relations with him from high school onward and before since his father as a "lifer" in the Air Force so John knew MANY folks his age- we ALL were literately in an "unbelieving stance" he was SO much a part of each one of us. So I may already have these songs but I never pass up ANY recording I do not have some before or close to his death showing his "development" in song writing the voice Never changed

I like this cd, even though I don't like most country
My favorite song on this was "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" other songs bring back warm memories and mellow feelings like "Sunshine on my Shoulders" Great Collection to own, glad I found it.

Good press and sound quality
This relative new press is very good in terms floor noise is fairy quite and overall sound quality. Far better than my old vinyl collections of the same songs. The only thing is I am not so partial to color vinyl like the green one in this case. I would rather have the normal black if I had a choice. Equipment used: Phone cartridge: AT VM540ML and Ortofon 2M Blue Turntable:Panasonic RD2900 and Fluance RT 85 Phono MM amp: Tube preamp Power amp: 300B SET tube amp

Amazing CD
I play this CD when I need comfort and to clear my head. John was an amazing song writer and vocalist! I wish he was still with us. I especially like Sweet Surrender. This song has helped me through some stressful situations lately. I really love all of the songs for individual reasons. The whole CD makes me feel calm and uplifted!

A John Denver classic
I was always a lover of John Denver music, he excelled as a singer/songwriter..Have a few of his albums, but this one is my favourite, so lovely listening to all these fantastic songs..Great value for money…
