yes as long as its a capacitive touch screen if you are unsure heres how to tell which you have you have a resistive touch screen if you can use a non conductive object to tap the screen like say a toothpic or a plastic stylus you have a capacitive touchscreen in you can use your finger with a verry verry light touch you have a digitizer touchscreen if neither of the above options work but the supplied stylus with the touchscreen works this pen works best with the capacitive touchscreens

What is the disc made of and do you think they scratch the screens?

Hi... it's a plastic disc and it does not scratch the screen. I use it on my iPad and iPhone and love it - you only have to tap lightly for it to respond, much better than using your finger - very responsive! Just remember to keep your screen clean.... Hope this helps!
