4.9 Gallon Water Container

I had another one before. It had a leak through top always. But this one has a better plastic, tops, extra valve, seal and top. Feature to wash inside. Shape of canister thinner and fit to more places inside my truck cab. Definitely recommend!

This is one of those moments when you finally give in and pay the extra $$ for the product that is finally going to actually get the job done. I have purchased so many cheaper, smaller water jugs that were poorly designed and/or cracked after one use. If I had just bought this jug from the get-go, I would have actually saved myself not only money but hassle! This jug is sturdy. This jug has a little air vent so the water continues to keep coming out smoothly. This jug has a large opening making filling easy. This jug has a large dial for pouring water and it comes with an additional spout if you’re filling water bottles and want to reduce the potential of a spill. 10/10 across the board. My only critiques are superficial: it’s not the most beautiful jug and it’s pushing the limits of what I can comfortably carry (it’s nearly 5 gallons), but for the increased functionality it’s worth it (and I needed to get stronger anyway!) Stop shopping, this is the water jug you’re looking for.

I bought two of these six months ago and use them weekly for an event. They get put in a vehicle, filled up at a spring, unloaded full, set up at a table during and event, then packed up, emptied, rinse and repeat the next week. So far they have performed well. No leaks, easy to fill, mostly sturdy, although the tiny air valve vent cap is poorly designed and broke almost instantly on one these- it's a very small push on plastic piece. I would have liked to see this as a screw on. The container comes with two of these air vents, so clearly they know that you will love/break them. These are a huge improvement over the standard 5 gallon water dispenser jugs, as they are easier to transport without tipping due to the shape. i like having the handles on both sides, but don't think it's a necessity. The spigot is sturdy and hasn't leaked on either of them.

I love this little 4 gallon jug for my camp wash water. Much easier to handle than the big 7 gallon "blue jug". I was pleasantly surprised how nice this valve style is to use versus others. The body plastic on this jug isn't as thick as the "blue jugs", but a little thicker than those 2.5gal jugs of drinking water in the grocery store. I expect it to last many trips. I put my jug in a milk crate to protect it in the bed of the truck when I'm going to be on rough roads, and to use the crate as a stand for it when a tree stump or tailgate isn't available at camp. I'm happy that when it is stood up for valve use, it has a small but stable footprint, too. Not bulky at all. The big cap is a bonus. It allows for better interior cleaning, and for filling it up with liquids and even with ice. When traveling, I take the valve assembly of and put on its smaller flat cap, and place the valve in the jug for protection and so I don't lose it. The little accordion hose that pops onto the valve spout is also a nice touch and comes with. And it also comes with a spare gasket for the big cap

Bought a cheaper container made of a more clear plastic. The spigot failed after just a couple of days and in the process of pouring the water into another container it split at a seam and was leaking badly. Returned and wound up getting 2 hours of these to hold all the distilled water we make with a distiller ordered on Amazon also. Very satisfied. Have one upstairs for CPAP and another downstairs for drinking and coffee. Working very well. Worth the additional money. Don’t count on the cheaper ones.

Have used this container on several car camping trips. Plastic is tough and puncture resistant. Spigot is thoughtfully located near the bottom if the container is on its side. Large fill cap that does not leak when full (unlike others I have used). Its translucent - you can tell how much water is left. Has a handle that can be used to stabilize when filling or transporting (even when full). Overall, a great product with thoughtful design.

I adored mine and am getting ready to order a replacement! After 5 years of nearly constant use camping and for power outages, we beat this jug UP! It finally developed a crack. Would highly recommend!

It's all made out of plastic even the drip line . I couldn't even make the the spigot work right. It does leak Also blue lids that uses the spigot are not interchangeable with prior jugs. I purchased a jug in the past that they were not interchangeable

The 18L size was perfect for car caping! When filled up, lasted 1 day for two of us for drinking, cooking, little bit of washing up etc. Anything larger and it would be too heavy and unwieldy. Originally thought it was leaking from the larger hole but turns out I just didn't tighten it enough. Love the style of the spigot (easy to control flow and seems sturdy). Easy to wash (took a long time to find a water container with a hole large enough to put my hand in and do a proper wash and airs out really fast); no odour/taste. Make sure to wash it really well (ie. take out the rubber seals in the lids etc) to ensure you get all the little bits of plastic out. I soaked the parts in vinegar/water mix, then thoroughly washed and rinsed.

This is exactly what I am looking for. However I used it for my garden. Perfectly matches what I intend to use it for.

Sturdy and holds a lot of water. Put the hose from my portable A/C unit into the hole with the screw off cap and I don’t have to worry about water leaking out of the unit because the reserve tank is full due to humidity being pulled from the room.

Très bon récipient pour camping, valve sans fuite, parfait pour remplir vos réservoirs de roulotte dans des campings sans services. Un peut dispendieux par contre.
