Update I discovered when you put the protector on if it powers on (goes out of stand by mode) tap power button once (no need to shut off) this will put it to back into sleep mode even with the protector on. Works very well, it fits in my Quest 2 just right. Now then it’s obvious that you should use this when your headset is not in use and your headset is powered off. Not good to use in standby mode because it will trick the unit to believe it’s still on your head going out of sleep mode and drain your battery. So use this when your totally done playing or when charging it to protect the lenses. Otherwise turn it off and then put the protector on the lens. Also good if you need to quickly put down the headset you can put the protector in the headset briefly to go afk and have your lenses protected. But don’t leave it for long because the headset will go out of standby mode. As I said to store your headset turn it off then put in the protector. Great to keep your lenses safe from scratching or to keep other object from knocking against or coming into contact with the lenses ruining them.

As mentioned by others, this fits Quest 3 perfectly and doesn’t fall out as with other brands! This is very important to me! Highly recommend this cover! I will always have one from now on for each headset. The lenses are very easily scratched so it is very important to protect them. I accidentally scratched some badly with a paper towel and by keeping the controllers loose in a case. Don’t do either of those things!!!

Keeps the sun of my lenses

I study a lot in college and my Quest tends to collect dust. Getting this cover makes it easier to just jump back in without cleaning the lens and also keeps it safe from any unwanted pests (like spiders). Not crucial but does help keep your lens dust free at a low cost. Also washable if you need to.

I bought 2 of these, 1 for quest 3 and one for quest 2. quest 3 it works ok enough, kind of an odd fit but works. quest 2 it doesn't fit well and doesnt fully cover the lenses. so somewhat works, but i'm sure there are much better options. for 10 bucks a piece these are kind of disappointing.
