Works great
Great fit and easy to install. The snap on cover to hide the screws makes it look a lot cleaner. Now the cold air from my garage isn’t creeping into my house.

Good quality door seal
This door weather seal works great and is fairly easy to install. Made of quality materials and the fit was good. I would recommend.

Nice product but the screw shield needs redesign
I just installed one of these 36 inch sweep/seals on my front door. I opened the door, removed the old sweep (it was just self-clamped on the door bottom), and slid the new sweep most of the way on. Hammering on a wood block on the end got it the rest of the way on. My door is 36 inches overall width so I had no trimming to do. The sweep is all the way up on the door but the sealing is just right. After installing the four screws I proceeded to slip on the screw shield. That was a problem! The shield clamps around the flexible upright side of the sweep, but the side doesn't flex if the aforementioned screws are tight enough to ensure that the sweep stays in place on the door. Even when the screws are loosened, friction is too strong. I applied Vaseline to the door and shield and worked the shield back and forth to finally get the shield installed. But the loosened screws are now useful only to limit possible vertical and lateral motion of the sweep. However, I think there will be no vertical motion problem in my case because the sweep can't be pushed up further, the sweep does clamp to the door, and if it did drop down a little when the door is open it will be pushed back by the force produced by the bottom seals and/or doorway threshold. The only real problem is that if the sweep gets kicked or otherwise knocked, manual repositioning may be necessary. The sweep needs to be redesigned to provide standoff of shield from sweep side and ensure low friction in the slide. Alternatively, a snap-on design may be a better choice.

Extraordinarily effective
I've had this installed for about 4 months now. Summary: It was an extremely good purchase. Enough for me to write this review. This was for a garage side door that had about a 3/4" gap between the sill and the bottom of the door. The garage is heated and it is where we sleep our dogs. I had tried other door skirts and was getting resigned to needing a Door Sock, which you have to move and place each time your open the door. But then I tried this one. What a difference. The temperature in the garage jumped to within 1 degree of the main house, even in sub-freezing weather. Older, less effective sweeps would let the garage fall 6-8 degrees below the house; you could feel the cold getting in, and it was from that door gap. Installation was straightforward. The height is easily adjustable and covers a very wide range, easily closing my gap problem. The multiple bottom seals are very effective and were set to be just-the-right-snug, offering extra protection against pests, which was a bonus. But the big win was stopping the cold air drafts. This item was worth the extra cost. It's hard to quantify in engineering terms, but I''ll bet this sweep is 10x more effective at stopping drafts than cheaper single sweep solutions due to the better fit and seals. At least for me. And my dogs stay warm. Yay!

Easiest install ever!
Probably the fastest and easiest home improvement project I've ever done. (Okay, maybe replacing an outlet wall plate is easier but this was close.) The whole thing was done in close to 15 minutes, including rehanging the door and putting away my sawhorses and tools. Here's what you do: 1) Be sure you're buying the right size for your door. 2) Pop the hinge pins, and lay the door on a surface you can work on. 3) Remove the old sweep. This may take some doing, depending on yours, but mine pried right off. 4) Slide the screw cover panel of the new sweep off its track. (No need to pop it off or back on, which might be where some people have reported this being difficult. It's not. Just pull lengthwise and sliiiiide it away.) 5) Dry fit the new sweep, screw holes facing INSIDE the house! 6) Rehang the door. The sweep should stay in place as you do. If not, try a little painters tape to hold it in place? 7) Adjust the sweep to the level you need for a true fit, then set the screws. I recommend starting with the two end screws. This allows you to micro-fit the middle to perfection. The screws self-tap, but if you have a metal door like mine, you may need to lean into it at first. 8) Slide the decorative screw cover panel back on from the edge of the door. Again, don't try to "clamp" it in place. Sliiiide it in like butter. 9) You're done. Put away your tools and enjoy the rest of your day. The only downside to this whole process is that I was done so fast that my neighbors probably didn't even have a chance to be impressed with my door-hanging skills. Still, thanks KS Hardware for designing something that's a breeze to install but will keep the breeze out!

Nice quality
… but, I wish they wouldn’t have cut the outside so short. This is for our inside door leading to garage. Was not able to use the rain guard part to cover up how short they cut the other side. Had to drill new holes since it doesn’t line up with the original holes. It makes the door hard to close even pushed all the way up. The contractors who built our home put the door in super crooked since they also didn’t put the drywall in straight the door frame is not square. We added new hinges and new insulation plus this. Outside of machining issues and being cut too short on one side, it still looks better than what the contractors who built it gave us. Hoping over time the rubber compresses a bit so we can close the door normally again. It seems to help with drafts but is really a tight fit and makes the door hard to close.

I recently received the KS Hardware Adjustable Double Bubble Door Sweep and I am beyond impressed with its performance. The installation was quick and easy and the adjustable feature allowed me to get a perfect fit for my door. The double bubble design is very effective in blocking out drafts, dust, and noise. I have noticed a significant reduction in air leaks and a noticeable increase in energy efficiency. The material is durable and well-made and it has held up perfectly despite daily use. I love the sleek design, it looks great on my door and does not detract from its appearance. I highly recommend this door sweep to anyone looking for an effective and affordable solution to reducing energy costs and improving indoor comfort. It is a 5-star product!

Changed my rating to 4 stars as I gave it another attempt the next day. I was able to hammer the cover in place with a mallet. It took a lot of effort and I am surprised it didn’t break but it looks great. Still, no 5 stars as installation is way harder than it should according to the description. Sweep looks decent. Installation was easy up till the moment of adding the screw cover. As others have pointed out, once the screws are in, the edge is too tight to slide it in place. Clipping on is also impossible. The idea is great, just needs some adjustments.

Exactly the same as what's on my front door. Installed straight out of the box with no problems.

It took me a long time to find a door sweep for our front door, which has an uneven sill on one side. The gap on that side is about 3/4” and nothing else could cover it. This sweep is not only well made, it can cover large gaps. In my case, I had to lower it more on one side and place foam between the sill and door, and place a screw on the front side as well to ensure that it stays in place rather than raise up over time (which is what originally happened after a few weeks of use, but it was easy to adjust). A useful note: the cover for the screws makes for a very nice, clean look but it can be difficult to slide on and more difficult to slide off. It might be helpful to leave it off for a month or so, until you’re sure no adjustments will be required after a lot of movement.) I’d buy this sweep a million times before every getting one of the flimsy hardware store models.
