It works cable for the tablet but you must have the appropriate charger or rechargeable battery, example leptop charger or external battery that is capable of charging the leptop

Light came on first time I connected it but I’m not actually sure if it charged my device as I was on checking it worked before leaving to go to work. Second time I tried to actually charge my device the light blinked for a second and since then it’s never worked again at all.

Excellent cable attachment. I can now carry the one usb-c cable around instead of an extra surface pro one. Works well, charges as normal, can’t complain.

Build qualify seems fine, and the price is good. I've docked a star because it doesn't behave well when connected to a charger that can't supply enough power. I tried using a 30W charger, and the result was it simply cycling every few seconds between charging and not charging. It should simply not charge, and maybe blink the LED to indicate a problem.

I bought this cable with the intention to use with a PD power bank. It works absolutely perfectly and keeps my Surface Pro 5 well charged. Also works well with a standalone high output USB C plug. It simply does the job.

The USB C female connector was crooked , returned and will order a replacement but it works well it anker 30W iq or macbook charger

Managed to charge my surface pro with this cable and a teknet battery bank that has power delivery, worked perfectly and its so much nicer than the official microsoft USB-C converter brick.

I bought this as an option to charge my work surface pro 3 laptop. Initial thoughts were that it worked really well. Unfortunately, after being at home due to COVID for two weeks and using the charger regularly, it has stopped working. Luckily I can still charge the laptop using the USB cable. Shame

Funciona muito bem produto com qualidade

Der Adapter ist super: klein, leicht und funktioniert einwandfrei! Vorausgesetzt, man hat ein Schnellladegerät mit ein bisschen Wumms... Wer denkt, dass er jedes alte USB-Ladegerät von seinem Bluetooth-Kopfhörer, Handy oder der E-Zigarette verwenden kann, der wird enttäuscht: Das Surface wird nicht geladen. Dafür kann aber der Adapter nichts. Die Ladeelektronik im Surface reagiert einfach erst, wenn genug Strom durch die Leitung fließt. Wer das beachtet, bekommt hier ein praktisches, kleines Teil, das einem das Leben erleichtern kann. Ich habe jetzt immer ein Ladegerät im Büro und eins zu Hause und muss mich nicht mehr ärgern, wenn ich mit leeren Akku ankomme. Netter Nebeneffekt: weil ich ein Surface 4 nutze, dessen Original-Ladegerät nur 24 W leistet, lade ich in Verbindung mit einem günstigen 30W Schnellader jetzt sogar schneller als mit dem von Microsoft ;-)

Il cavo risulta perfettamente compatibile con surface pro (4 nel mio caso). È dotato di led quando carica e si attacca magneticamente al tablet. Utilizzato con alimentatore fast charge usb-c: controllate bene che l'alimentatore supporti PD e 15V-3A perché il cavo possa funzionare. Unica nota dolente il prezzo, secondo me troppo elevato.

Il ne marche pas avec un surface pro 6 car il faut 44 watts pour le faire fonctionner.

Il cavetto funziona; il Surface si carica, il led si accende, i touchpad non impazzisce (come ho letto in altre recensioni) e tutto funziona perfettamente. Ovviamente, è normale che con un semplice caricabatterie da cellulare o da tablet il Surface non caricherà mai! Ma non è colpa del cavo; per caricare un Surface occorre un caricabatterie PD da almeno 45 watt (io l'ho collegato ad uno da 60). Unico difetto, il prezzo! Presumo sia particolarmente difficile da costruire...
