Is the casing actually polycarbonate? there's bpa in that.

Yes, it's an FDA-listed and NSF-approved medical grade plastic (Makrolon 2458) safe for direct contact with food or human tissue. The reason we use medical grade polycarbonate vs. other plastics is so it can be steam sterilized, boiled, and and is compatible with a variety of sanitizers (iodophor, Starsan, alcohol, etc)

Are you selling other colors?

We only have black listed but I can sell you any of the 8 colors we sell (red, blue, pink, yellow, purple, orange, green). I don’t have a dedicated device. Will data be recorded so you can pick up where you left off after reconnecting?

No. The Tilt does not store/record data itself. It simply broadcasts the data. So, if you take your phone out of range then back you will only get the data at that time you get within range. You might consider looking into a Raspberry Pi. They are very affordable and we provide a free Tilt app to run on one. How high above the surface does the top rise up?
