They are great for temporary repairs and problems. 8 inches is my favorite size to stock. Not too long or short and I can easily put 2 or 3 together for bigger items. However, they are not the same as commercial grade cable ties and very much cheaper. We don’t use these zip ties in construction or industrial industries. Secondly, tensile strength is not the same as weight capacity. I strongly recommend - do not use this to hold 50 lbs. Tensile strength is the amount of force it takes to pull at the ends of the cable tie before it breaks. Weight capacity is applied at points along the body of the cable tie. Tensile strength is at the endpoints. Third, this zip tie isn’t built to withstand long-term or indefinite exposure to outdoor weather. Even less durability in extreme weather. For outdoor use, I expect to replace them every 3-6 months. If I get a year or more I’m satisfied. I purchased them to use at home. While waiting for delivery I started doing a car repair and realized I didn’t have the tool I needed. What to do because at this point, all the screws and car parts are removed so I can do the repair work. Then arrived Amazon with my cable ties. PERFECT! The battery stayed disconnected and I zip tied the car together without screws, bolts, and whatever. When my tool arrives, also by Amazon, 4-5 snips and I’m ready again to repair. I like the size and quality of these zip ties. I can cut them with regular scissors without buying more tools. They arrived packaged in a thin box instead of a plastic bag. Including tax, each zip tie cost about 4 cents, which is pricey. However they are already nicely packaged to keep in different places. 100 might seem like a lot but I used 15 of them in one project. This is a good buy for small quantities and average use.

These cable ties are strong, durable, and very easy to use. They hold securely without snapping and are perfect for organizing cables, securing items, or handling small projects around the house. The pack comes with plenty, making it a great value for the price. Definitely a handy item to keep around!

EXCELLENT ZIP TIES THAT HAVE RELIABLE LOCKABILITY AND CAN BE TRUSTED FOR THE HOLD. THAT PEACE OF MIND THAT IT WILL HOLD IS VERY SOOTHING BECAUSE OTHERWISE DAMAGE CAN OCCUR. I USED THESE TO HOLD UP GROW LIGHTS THAT WERE TWO FEET LONG AND HANGING ABOVE MY DELICATE AFRICAN VIOLETS. THE HOLD IS EXCELLENT. THESE CAN BE USED FOR ANY JOB THAT ENTAILS A VARIETY OF PROJECTS…AND THEY WILL NOT FAIL YOU. YOU CANNOT ASK FOR MORE THAN THAT. I APPRECIATE THIS LENGTH BECAUSE I DID NOT HAVE TO CUT THE EXTRA PIECE OFF ONCE SECURED. I HAVE THE 15” ZIP TIES THAT DEFINITELY HELD, BUT WERE SIMPLY TOO LONG FOR MY PROJECT NECESSITATING ZIP TIES. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE BECAUSE THESE ZIP TIES HAVE PROVEN THEMSELVES TO ME OVER AND OVER, AND WITHOUT FAIL. I RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY.

Great zip ties. They really hold my shower pouf ticht so it lasts a year, not a month.

If your putting up a screen for your fence, get heavy duty zip ties as these break faster than my dogs can bark. I went to my local hardware store and got the heavy duty longer ties to replace these cheap little zip ties that are a waste of time on any outdoor project.

So many uses. I use these when crafting, such as adding center pieces to wreaths. In my classroom, I had used them to tie wires together and keep them off them floor.
