Roux Rejuvenating Porosity Control Corrector and Conditioner Treatment Unisex 10.01 oz

All good things must come to an end. Heartbroken. I LOVE this product and while I’m sad it’s being discontinued, I’m glad I found out about it (only 2-3 years ago), and that I got a chance to use it while I could. I am sad however, that I didn’t get a chance to stock up lol. The warning signs of discontinuation were there but my $$ wasn't, lol. My hair is not damaged—but it’s on the fine-medium side and a bit porous. In other words, it reverts fast. The slightest bit of heat, sweat, humidity, and my blowout is done. There is no product like this on the market anywhere. Sadly niche products like this dont seem to have a place in this new world market. It’s special not just because of what it does, but how it’s used. It’s an after shampoo rinse out corrector that you only need to apply for 30 seconds. It detangles. It instantly smooths my cuticles and my blowouts last longer. It’s great for relaxed hair too. I’m no longer relaxed but I still use this product. I liked that I didnt have to use it every wash. It has lasting effects. I maybe used it every 1-2 months or just as needed when my porosity felt high. It just balances my hair nicely. Hard to describe but definitely a can’t live without product— I guess I’ll have to try :( Praying this one will come back.

I worked at a beauty product store in 1990 to 1993, I sold so much of this product that I decided to give it a try! It’s great to use for a filler while coloring your hair! You comb it through then apply your color! Then my family & I moved to another state & there are dozens of beauty supply shops here that should have had this conditioner & shampoo but for some reason they didn’t have it or did not know what it was! It actually took me from 1998 to 2023 to find this on Amazon! Thank you Amazon! This stuff is the best conditioner I have ever used! I went through dozens of conditioners trying to get a conditioner like Porosity! No luck! Now that I know where I can get it, I’ll buy it often! I have colored hair & very long hair! Since I couldn’t find this product I tried so many that just would not get tangles out of my hair! You have no idea how bad my tangles were! I found Porosity on Amazon & bought it right away! It’s not the same consistency at all! It’s watery! It use to be nice & creamy, it also use to be a pretty gray/blue metallic color & it smelled really nice! Well! I don’t care that it’s all of what I printed! I love this stuff! It’s perfect for me & I'm so very, very, very happy that I finally found this again! It has always been amazing at how it gets out tangles with wet hair! I would say I get 99% of the tangles in about 5 to 6 minutes! I use a nickel size amount & it works perfectly as it always has! I did love the creamy consistency but the new is just fine with me!!! Less is best with this product! If you put more than a really small amount (nickel size ) or a bit more if you have really long or very thick hair, if you put more in your hair thinking it will make things better…your going to have a greasy mess! Use sparingly & you will love this stuff too!!Now I’m going to buy more of this conditioner & shampoo! This time I’m not taking any chances…I’m going to buy several bottles at a time so that I never run out! AND I’m well over 50 years old & I’ve been using for many years! Age has nothing at all as to use I h it!!

Been using this conditioner since I was in my twenties when it was first introduced to me. Unfortunately if you go to the hair store and ask any of them do they sell this product they will look at you like crazy and don't know what you're talking about. You can only find this online. But it is a game changer, if your hair is very coarse or even your kids hair if you put this in there as a leave-in conditioner that cone would go through the hair like it's a fine tooth comb. I'm in my 50s now and I still use this product. Highly highly recommend

I have been using this for years, and it is nearly miraculous. I bleach my hair and use a ton of colors, and you would not believe how soft my hair is despite this. I get compliments and surprise all the time at the condition of my hair. This treatment is interesting. It is like a gel almost, and it soaks into the hair, smoothing it. It is not the consistency of a conditioner. It is different, but it definitely works. I recommend it all of the time. You cannot even tell I bleach my hair by how it feels from using this.

Works great. You can even add a little bit to a spray bottle and use it as leave in conditioner. It makes my daughters hair easy to brush and makes it shiny.

I've used this product sparingly for years, as it helps prevent damage, hydrates, plus fills the hair shaft, helping prevent frizz, splits, and hair breakage.

Best conditioner ever. My hair is porous and frizzy and it works great. I also like the way it smells.

I’ve been using this product, maybe 10 years if not longer. It’s hard to find, I hope it’s not being discontinued. It works far better than Olaplex, Redkin Acidic Bonding and L’Oreal Elvive 8 Minute Wonder (and I’ve tried all three). It real does make my hair silky smooth, shiny and more manageable. This is a great product to use on over processed hair from colouring, perming or bleaching. It works on the porosity to help the hair shaft hold colour. Best to use for a couple of shampoos prior to getting hair perm or colour. It does what it is supposed to

Il y a un avant et un apres sur mes cheveux. Ils sont renforcés, lissés et beaucoup moins poreux. Seul défaut : il n'est pas facilement trouvable et par conséquent coute énormément

Protége bien la porosité des cheveux, surtout après un defrisage. Je le recommande.

My hair felt terrible after one use. Very dry could not brush my hair. No salmon bottle and is very watery. I would not buy again.
