I would like to say, I do not write reviews often.... But when I sat on this thing I KNEW I had to write one. I was not paid for this, I got this sack in the 5' version on prime day for around $111 and hell am I glad I didn't go bigger lol... It comes in a tiny little cube that makes you think "did I get ripped off?" and feels like a block of gold. Until you see how big the memory foam expands too! I went with the regular foam and I am really happy with it. Takes some working in to do before its full size, mine took between 3 days and a week to fully fluff up. There are still some larger chunks inside the inner bag that I have to get in and rip up, but other wise it took me and my girlfriend about 10-15 minutes to unbox and expand.. Over the next few days we rolled, flipped, jumped on and fluffed it every so often. Now it is PERFECT. I was thinking of adding more foam at first but now I think that would make it too stiff. I kept telling my girlfriend that this thing will be cool and she didn't understand why I was so excited. Long story short now I can't get her off of it or out of the living room and I bought this for my office in our apartment lol. Speaking of that... its relatively easy to squeeze through doors and move as long as you are relatively strong, I move it from room to room depending. Not sure how you would go about returning one of these now that I think about it due to the MASSIVE expansion of the foam, no WAY you are getting it back in the original bag. So decide carefully. I hope this review helps you make that choice. This has everything I can ask for. Easy setup, comfortable foam, comfortable AND washable cover, small packaging (though heavy), Inner sack to hold the foam, and all at an extremely affordable price. For how expensive and limited coaches are nowadays, this is by FAR the best and cheapest piece of furniture I own. Its actually crazy to think about. Overall, if you are looking at a Lovesac, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY THIS! Not sure how much better the name brand "Lovesac" could be if I am honest. So the reviews I read after I ordered mine scared me! I started to worry I made a mistake and that I was possibly going to get a hard flat chair like many of them said... Happily that isn't the case.. it definitely isn't full like the ad pic show (that is misleading advertising unless that model weighs nothing to compress the foam like mine compresses), but mine did infact fluff up pretty well. (It definitely could us a bit more stuffing as the material still has plenty of room for more, so I plan on reaching out to see of they will rectify that.) So my thoughts on it: When you sit on it you do sink and it flattens out.. but that is a logical result, as it is just foam with no support built in... think of a foam mattress or memory foam mattress,; when you sit on it it sinks unless it is hard... Comfort: the cover is soft and I like the feel of it, I find if i take a pillow for my head its pretty comfortable to watch TV in, I hope with more foam it will feel a little more supportive when you sit in it, as there won't be so much room for the foam to spread out in... Setting up: So after unpacking and really working to break up foam like the instruction said.. it didnt look like much, but it did expand to maybe 1/2 its size... but after 2-3 days of rolling the chair to break up more peices, it expanded pretty well probably 3/4 full. NOTEs: It is definitely scrap foam and memory foam in it. Not uniform sizes, some super big pieces in it and some harder pieces in it as well those are easy to bury into it without feeling them... It takes some work and effort to break up all the foam from its vacuum sealed shrunk down packaging but I noticed the more I broke it up the fuller it got. Still not a big as it supposed to be but still plenty large. When you sit in it you have to roll it to unsquish the foam after if you want it to expand to its full structure, otherwise it stays compressed until you do. This chair is not a instant gratification unpack and sit item, you have to work for your reward, but overall we are happy with the 2 we bought. I only scored it 3-4 because it does needs a small amount of more foam but I will be changing my stars to 5 if they rectify the need of more a little more foam, as that is really the ONLY thing I am disappointed in. Just gotta figure out how to contact them :-) Update! More foam arrived and the chair is awesome now !!! Good support to read, play on your phone or watch TV... 💘 Love it!!

The Good: These bean bag chairs are HUGE and extremely comfy! I debated between buying a couch and bean bag chairs for the girls' playroom and am super happy with my decision. I snagged two of these when they were on sale for ~$132, so in essence I was able to buy the equivalent of a couch for under $300. I am about 5'6" and 140 lbs and fit super comfortably on these with room to spare. My husband who is 6'2" also finds them comfortable. My girls (4 and 6) LOVE sleeping on them and jumping all over them. I too often find myself wanting to take a nap on them! I saw some reviews that said they aren't full enough, but I find the filling plenty sufficient. These are more for lounging/laying down on though - it would be somewhat hard to sit upright on them. If they feel at all flat, you just pick them up and toss them around, and they return to their full shape. The Bad: The instructions were a bit unclear. They arrive in this super compact, hard cube. I ended up basically tearing the big chunks of memory foam apart which was very hard to do. My arms were sore after the hour plus it took to do this for both bags. I don't know if the bean bags would have eventually broken up on their own if left to sit long enough? They also still have a slight lingering unpleasant smell even though I've had them a few weeks now. Overall, I am super happy with these chairs, especially for the price I got them!

Another UPDATE 2 months after purchase- I am updating this review in my luxurious, amazing, soft bean bag. I am in LOVE with this thing. It’s the comfiest thing I’ve ever put my butt in and I dread the day I get so old that I won’t be able to heave myself out of it anymore. So amazingly awesomely comfy. If you are on the edge because of the other bad reviews, just do it. I don’t know what they are complaining about but this thing is the best thing I’ve ever spent money on. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 And it’s been almost two months since I unboxed it, it still fluffs up like new. It does sink in and need to be fluffed every once in awhile but see now, I don’t even mind that because I can karate chop and kick the crap out of it and pretend it’s my worst enemy and it’s actually therapeutic. Love. ❤️💕 PICTURE UPDATE- The last picture was after having it exactly a week. As you can see it’s quite fluffed out. I still might add more filling cuz I’m fat and the lower I sink into this, the better. This thing is MASSIVE. You read the reviews that say huge and you are like, yea it’s not that big it doesn’t look that big whatever but let me tell you it really is big. I’m not sure how the other reviewers only had half full bags because the pics I took were just an hour or so after breaking up and fluffing and you can see how fat it is. It’s so fluffy. So comfortable. I was anxiously awaiting this purchase and am extremely glad I invested in it instead of the more expensive brands because this is perfect. I’m a fat girl and can still get up out of it. I do sink a little lower than I'd like because my feet touch the ground, but really, that's a small complaint compared to how much I LOVE IT. I got the purple ultra fur and it’s so luxuriously soft. UPDATE- Seriously. Best. Purchase. Ever. At the same time, WORST. Purchase. Ever. I went out last night for the first time since receiving my bean bag chair a few days ago. It's kinda sad when you are longing to be back home, snuggled up in your bean bag than out with your friends for the evening. It's seriously that comfortable. I pffted at all the reviews that said, warning you will fall asleep in this chair. I am not one to fall asleep just anywhere. Car rides? Different beds? Any of that? Ha. No sleep for me. But last night, I was watching Netflix and the next thing I know, I wake up in the bean bag and it's 3am. I have no memory of even getting tired and starting to fall asleep, it literally knocked me out. I was out cold. So heed the warnings that you will fall asleep/not want to get out of this chair! This thing is awesome. It feels like a big cuddle/hug and the ultra fur is so soft that when I am sitting in it, I can't stop petting it. You will not regret this purchase. I definitely do not!

We've had ours for 15 months with no sign of wear. We have 5 children who like to climb and wrestle on it, so I'm pleased with the durability. Very comfortable and still fluffs up if you rotate it a couple times.

Although I did a lot of reading through the many product reviews before purchasing this product, I was lured by the mainly positive ratings and the statements about how happy some users are with this chair. My gut tried to steer me away from purchasing this but unfortunately I took the chance despite some of the negative reviews pointing-out some concerning and recurring issues. Many of those negative reviews turned out to accurately describe aspects of the product I received, but I also found one MAJOR ISSUE (#1) that I did not see in any other review and that I consider to be the worst. This was a birthday present for my teenager and I had the greatest hopes that it would be a hit. I even told her that she will spend most of her free time on/in this chair... Now I am left with having to find a replacement after this present was a complete bust. For what it's worth, here are my issues: #1 - NOT MEMORY FOAM - It seems to be some cheap foam that was ripped into chunks. This is something I did not read in any other reviews and it's the biggest issue for me because I consider it to be false advertising. Memory foam, especially if high-quality, is quite a bit more expensive, heavier, but also more comfortable, so this seems to be an attempt by the manufacturer to cut cost. The particular filling I received springs back immediately after compression (zero memory effect) and is much lighter than I expected after reading review from others. I have no problem lifting this bag up and carrying it around with one hand. No problem if the product description matches the product, but calling this memory foam is FALSE ADVERTISING! #2 - CHUNKS and LUMPS - The foam pieces are too big, some of them around 6 inches. Even after separating the chunks over several days, the chair remains extremely lumpy. Sections within pieces don't have the same consistency either and are partially hard, almost like some sort of crust. All of this in combination makes the chair very lumpy and uncomfortable. #3 - CUSTOMER EFFORT - I could accept the manufacturer expecting the customer to separate foam pieces from each other to expedite expansion, but expecting the customer to rip and tear the individual foam pieces by hand is frankly ridiculous. That should be part of the manufacturing process of the filling. Worst, I was unable to actually get to the filling itself due to a zipper issue (see issue #5) but I probably would have decided against digging inside the bag anyway as that would have just turned into a huge mess. Lastly, ripping these pieces by hand is HARD. I tried for about an hour overall by bunching-up the protective polyester liner but this foam is tough and doing this for the entire chair would be a waste of my time because even 2 inch pieces still felt like little lumps. Think of it as 2 inch cotton balls, only harder. This chair would never be comfortable, even after hours of ripping pieces. #4 - INSUFFICIENT FILLING - Like so many other buyers indicated, there isn't enough filling for the chair to be usable, or at least comfortable. I am 190 pounds and as soon as I drop down, I hit the floor. Combine that with the lumps you feel everywhere, it's just a very bad product compared to what is advertised but also compared to what other happy reviewers seem to have received. Probably needless to say that I also don't appreciate that the manufacturer expects you to purchase more filling separately at an additional cost just to get a product that is actually usable (or looks anywhere near the advertised pictures). This is cost-cutting at the expense of the customers to either increase profits or look more competitive. #5 - ZIPPER ISSUES - The zipper turns out to actually be a double-zipper, which I consider to be a positive. Not sure if I missed that in other reviews or if the manufacturer learned from prior zipper issues and doubled them up to avoid loss of stuffing. However, the inside zipper is broken and does not move. If I had decided to keep this product, I would have cut the inside zipper open to simplify ripping the filling and be able to add more. But based on the other issues I have with this chair, it's not worth the effort. #6 - QUALITY CONTROL - I can't say whether I was particularly unlucky to receive a very low quality product, or whether my expectations in this chair were higher than that of other reviewers. What is very clear is that quality control is very spotty at best, with me having received a product that combined most of the issues that some others experienced as well. #7 - DIFFICULT RETURN - One thing is for sure, unlike some other reviewers that decided not to send this product back because there is no way to fit it back into its original packaging, I will go out of my way to manufacture a box that will work as I have no tolerance for false advertising. Hopefully this will ultimately help others receive a better product that can meet expectations. This is likely the worst review I have ever written on Amazon. I don't do this lightly but hope that others can benefit from my experience and hopefully avoid it for themselves. In hindsight, I should not have taken the risk considering how difficult it will be to return this bag. I welcome any feedback, including comments from the manufacturer!

This Chill Sack was a big hit for Christmas! As you can see from the pic, 2 adults can be on it comfortably (legs hang off) and room for kids. Two kids can sit comfortably for watching tv or gaming. They LOVE it and everyone who sees it, wants one! Big, comfy, what more could you want? You can see from the pictures, it's huge. One picture has a moon pod in front...sigificantly smaller and only for one person. Moonpod is in front, so looks a bit larger than in real life. Moon pod is beads, Chill Sack is foam, both comfy. Moonpod has more support if you want a straight back, but Chill Sack is more comfy, snuggly. I bought the extra 10 lbs of foam after reading reviews and it was worth it. It is so high and full now. Even my 250 lb husband doesn't bottom out. Construction is great. Inner sack has two zippers (inner one does not have a pull on it, so kids cannot get into foam)!!!! Great feature. It was some work to get it open to add the extra foam, but that means the kids cannot get to the foam! Outer sack has 2 zippers too. Very sturdy. When we opened the box, it was small and compacted, in the inner sack only. We dug our hands in and fluffed and pulled apart the compacted foam pieces. We were rough, but the inner sack is strong! By doing this right off the bat we got good expansion that day. Next two days we rolled it, kicked (gently), dug our hands in to feel for clumps to pull apart. After a few days, we opened the inner sack and added the extra foam, carefully so as not to make a mess. It was compacted too, so picked and pulled it apart ( again through the cover). The foam pieces are a variety of sizes, shapes, colors, and it is all clean and new. I don't know that it's "memory foam" but it does the job! Construction is great...Strong, somewhat stretchy, inner sack with 2 zippers, nice microfiber outer sack cover with 2 zippers. I am impressed with the quality! Highly recommend! Spend the time in the beginning to pull apart clumps, get the extra foam (if you want a higher, firmer seat)...or start with the sack and see if you need extra foam later. You will not be dissappointed!

Bought this during an Amazon Treasure Truck sale. From the reviews I read, it was clear it was going to need additional memory foam filler, so you actually have to factor that into the final cost, which is an additional $40-$100, for an additional 10 to 20 lbs of fill. I say this because what you receive won’t match the pictures on the Amazon listing. To achieve close to the look of the website photos, you’ll need that additional 10-20 lbs. of filler. Upon receiving the product, it comes with some Amazon inserted flyers saying that it might takes 4-5 days for the bean bag chair to fully expand. It won’t take that long, maybe a half-day at most. Also, you have to keep in mind that memory foam collapses down far more than the styrofoam pellet filler of yesteryears. With these in mind, what you will receive is about 2/3 full. When you sit on it, it will collapse down 70% so that an average adult buttocks will be 8-12 inches off the ground, and there will not be enough filler so that the adult will end up lying almost horizontally. Comfortable? Yes. Usable for reading or watching TV? No. Those pictures on the website showing an adult female compressing into the bag only about 12 inches, while sitting high about 3 feet off the ground? Not in real life. My final position was similar to my dog’s or my position on his dog bed. I went ahead and purchased 10 lbs. of memory foam filler, which definitely made a significant difference. After adding it, the chair looks more like 85-90% filled, and when sitting down, you back is better supported and at a more usable angle for reading or TV, but you buttocks are still about 12-18 inches off the ground. I’ve ordered another 10 lb. Bag of filler, and I’ll post an update once that is tested.

The chill sack bean bag is amazing. The memory foam makes it super comfortable to sit in. At first I was wondering how small it was but if you keep fluffing it for a few days after it becomes fuller. It is also very durable because I continuously move it from my room to the living room. That means having to push and pull it up and down a staircase. After I bought mine my roommates wanted to buy more and get rid of our couches. AMAZING PRODUCT!!

Cuando el paquete llega es muy confuso porque el tamaño no es lo que ves en las imágenes, pero una vez ya armado y expandido es bastante grande. Yo mido 1.81 y quepo perfectamente, sólo hay que seguir las instrucciones y listo.
