Fabulous Painted Furniture

I am not a great painter, I needed something with pictures, good direction & patterns to trace onto the wood. This is a sizable book with a lot of ideas, my 3rd book with similar projects & by far best. It goes from sanding . primer & base coat before you even begin to do any decorative . You can go nuts & cover your project or add some cute accent painting.

Projects are clear. Would have liked more variety.

I wanted to take up fun painting on furniture and this book is perfect. Just what I needed.

I was excited about getting this book. I thought it was to give detailed instructions about what to do, how to do different furniture pieces. While it did give instructions, it was very vague. It was more in depth about how to paint designed on furniture, if that is what you plan to do, then this book would be great for you. However, I was wanting to learn different techniques on painting furniture, using different types of paint, how to do differ things with different kinds of paint. This book touched on some things, but didn't go into detail about them, it would tell you to use some kind of coat or base color and top layer. It was so disappointed, this book will go into the back of my books that I didn't find helpful.

Great photos along with the instructions made everything a lot easier to understand.

I have many books on furniture painting and refinishing and this is an absolute must for ideas and directions! It is complete with stencils and endless ideas. So glad I purchased it and added it to my collection. Can't wait to put the ideas into art pieces.
