Review: Really works but only on stained or natural wood. - I don’t know what kind of voodoo magic this stuff is but it works. It works best on scratches that are raw and not clear coated with polyurethane or some other type of finish. I tried it on that type of surface and the oil from the stick just sat on top of the wood. It did not work on our real hardwood floors bc the poly finish was still in the scratch. We have a lot of stained wood and trim in our house and it completely eliminated scratches in that. Our dogs had scratched up the front door which is also stained wood and it got rid of the scratches but on the outside where the sun hits the doors it did not work. The wood was too bleached by the sun so the oil in the stick did not blend with the natural wood and made an oil stain. It also do it work on our cabinets that are stained black as they also have a matte poly finish. Overall this stuff is a game changer for stained wood but not for painted or bleached wood.
