Product works as intended

The Super alloy 1 is an excellent product.

I used the product for repair pot metal parts for a car. Didn't really come up to the standard I was expecting. I am no dummy when it comes to welding or soldering, not a pro either. I have been an engineer for many years and I could not get this product to perform according to the vids. The primary problem was when the pit was prepared as suggested in the video and the solder applied, cooled, washed and then sanded or filed back there was always a void or voids in the weld. No plater will accept that. However I used the solder to weld stainless tabs to a headlamp frame. That worked fine.

I used Muggy Weld to repair some broken drawer handles on a drawer set we had purchased several years ago. The manufacturer of this drawer set went out of business, so new drawer handles are no longer available, but they unfortunately get broken fairly easily. I found Muggy Weld and decided to give it a try. I was able to repair a couple of broken drawer handles quickly and easily... just follow the instructions. The trick on broken door handles is to hold the joint together when the alloy is applied, so I created a jig for this purpose. I am certain that I will find other uses for Muggy Weld as well.

Great product, very easy to use specially if you READ the instructions! No mess, weld is very strong if done correctly, used correctly it will make your old crumbled part back into a great part that most of the time you can find anywhere, in my case I had to fix a car grill for a 1935 Oldsmobile!

Super Alloy 1 works great. I used it to repair an antique zinc die cast hood ornament. It is important to clean clean clean the area. Fit everything together and then find a way to secure it with zero movement while you solder. Read the instructions, watch the repair videos and take your time.
