I like the set so far. It's a decent basic beginner set for a good price. However, I don't know how I'd feel if I were right handed. I've learned to write with my right hand because nibs are often angled for right-handers, but these nibs look like they're cut straight across and I can't get the ink to flow consistently unless I use my dominant left hand. Maybe I missed something in the description saying it was for lefties, or maybe I'm doing it wrong with my right hand...either way, it was nice to stumble across a pen with nibs that work well for a lefty without me having to set the pen or paper at a crazy angle.

I didn't have the same troubles other people did. I know how to use a fountain pen, and therefore a calligraphy pen, so instructions weren't a problem for me (really, even if you don't, you could easily look it up online and find great instructions). The ink ran pretty well, though it needed more coaxing than I'm used to at the beginning, and the nibs are decent for beginners. I'm especially fond of the fact that they give three nibs, so a newcomer to calligraphy can experience different sizes.

I like this pen set and purchased it because I was intrigued by the refillable ink holder. I am finding, though, that the ink flows more quickly than I would like and I'm getting drips on my pages at times. It was still worth it.

I was disappointed in the cheap feel of this, but it does work well, just makes me feel like I will break it sometimes. Metal tin is nice a d durable though, and shipping was quick!

I wish the cartridges were bigger because it runs out of ink too easily for me.

This set is probably ok for someone that does not want it to be used for actual writing. It would be fine for a child who you wanted to start on the line of writing but a waste of money for anyone wanting to do some actual writing or lettering.

It's a great product! It didn't ship until after it was supposed to have arrived, which is why I'm not giving it a full 5 stars. But the product itself is wonderful.

Good quality for the price. Does not leak.
