Ear Cleanser Solution for Dogs and Cats, 4oz

My cat Evelyn has one filthy ear—it’s itchy and I can tell she’s extremely uncomfortable. My vet keeps blaming fleas because cultures show it’s just crud. I used xymox ages ago for a different cat, and I’m glad I thought to order it. It’s not prescription medicine, so I am comfortable using it by following the label instructions. This liquid immediately loosened some dirt I could wipe out, and Evelyn’s eventual reaction to having the drops was positive! The rinse must’ve relieved some itching; she forgave me for the ear flushing within minutes. Even today she still seems to feel less fidgety. I’ll keep using the product once a week and hope we’ve found some continued relief!

This works great for keeping my pets’ ears clean and comfortable. It’s easy to use, not messy, and doesn’t have an overpowering scent. I’ve noticed less buildup and scratching since using it, and my pets tolerate it pretty well. It’s a solid product for my dog’s regular ear care and I would buy it again. It’s also vet approved.

It's a good cleaner for ear yeast infections- but you need to supplement it- I have used this product for cleaning my dog's ears whenever they get an ear yeast infection. The solution works, it is a bit irritating for the pups so you need to supplement it with a NON-steroidal (so the yeast does not proliferate) soothing ear solution like- Zymox Otic Enzymatic Ear Solution for Dogs and Cats to Soothe Ear Infections Without Hydrocortisone. It takes about 3-4 weeks depending on the infection for you to get it under control. The product was first introduced to me by my vet over 10 years ago, and of course you are not paying Vet prices through Amazon. Because it is Chlorhexidine based- it has a "bleachy" smell, and can be a bit irritating for your pups if the inner ear skin is getting raw; hence the need to supplement it with a NON-steroidal soothing ear solution.

If your dog has long harry ears this brand is fab. I haven't tried this one of the brand but if your dog itches their ears the zymox Otic. A lot less then the vet control so for helps the appearance. It's the best and you don't end up wearing it. Best stif we have come across in 50years you need to try this line of products.

It’s really good, but quite expensive
