I find that it does what it says. I straighten my hair daily and it was bleached a year ago. Think it really helps while that all grows out. My second bottle now, first one lasted almost a year, you only need a few dabs of it, it distributes really far. I have fine hair that is waist length and extensions for volume, I put it on them too. I use it on the last about 1/4th of my hair ends length. No noticeable smell. Even though my hair is fine there's no issue in it looking greasy. I like to fluff it around the top of my head too the residue on my hands. Just makes a healthy shine. Pricy but the bottle lasts nearly a year so I view it as bulk buying lol
