What is the best way to clean the hose and other parts?

I only just got mine. But here’s the way I would clean it: once the water in the garafon is used up and I am ready to clean the dispenser, I would fill the garafon (Water jug) with a mixture of six cups of room temperature water and one cup of vinegar. I would then run it through the dispenser, emotying out the garafon completely. Repeat two more times. Use the mixture for cleaning floors, etc. Then repeat the process four times but with fresh clean tap water each time. With the fourth time, as it gets to the bottom, taste the water. If it tastes vinegary, then continuing to run fresh clean tap water through it. Repeat until the water no linger taste vinegary. Vinegar is wonderful disinfectant and cleanser for use around the house and is non-toxic.

Where on the box does it say that it is bpa free? I looked for the label on the box and no where does it says bpa free.

It’s been a while I don’t recall but I can say no funny aftertaste or anything. I use it just to pump a couple cups of water out of a 5 gallon bottle. (People have all sorts of ideas on what capacity to use it in)
